Obviously God wanted to do something and could not. In addition, since Jesus took away the sins of the world, then why do Christians still talk about original sin? Obviously Jesus did a terrible job at taking away the sins, and how can people still sin since Jesus took away the sins? That is like Bob taking away all the beer, but everyone else still having beer.

I love how christians site the scriptures as the worlds only source of information, are you aware of how many different religious texts there are in the world? How do you know that your one text is correct? The gods of other cultures are way more cool an powerfull so how do you know that their even more outlandish stories are any less credible than yours?
Why would god need to use a human vessel (Jesus) as a catalyst to extract all sin from man?

Also, like everything in the Christian religion, this concept is taken from the pagans who also made it a custom to have to "slay a diety to atone for the sins of man". Christianity is a cheap rip-off of the religions practiced prior to its conception. I close in noting that jesus was a jew who studied Kabalah as well. Why he would want his own religion is beyond me.

God's sacrifice on The Cross did not, and was not intended to, take away all sin. What was done was that the sin debt of all mankind was paid by The Blood of Jesus.... There is sin on this earth because it is the domain of evil. satan is the prince of this earth... there will be evil here as long as satan is around. When God ends this world and creates a new one there will be no satan andd thus no evil..... If you would like to honestly try to understand all of this find a good bible teaching church and attend bible studies with one or two Bible studying Christians.... I accept email questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith.

to save the world not to condemn the world.

That is what Jesus came for!!!!

The original sin is what brought sin into the world. We are born in a world of sin. Once we reach the age of accountability we are to recognize what is sin and what is not.

However, regardless if we are Christian or not, we all sin daily; even sins we do not know are sins. Any Christian that claims to be sin free is a liar. For we all still fall short of the glory of God.

We are sinners saved by grace, yes, but that does NOT give us a ticket to go on sinning. However, we are in the human form still and as long as we live we will sin.

If God sent Jesus down to take away all sin, then isn't that God's way of doing it? So, he was able to do it. He just chose this Jesus kid as his method. Maybe he felt if he used a "human", people could relate.

That is, if you believe in all that stuff.

According to God's judgement laws.

Man sinned and became a servant to sin. According to hebrew law, he could be redeemed by a kinsman redeemer.

Jesus lived a life without sin and was put to death. The penalty for sin is death, and as prophesied, the Messiah came and paid our price.
The gift is there, but unless you reach up and take the gift and open it, it will do you no good.

yes that's right it was GOD himself that came down here
in the form of a human, Jesus

people still SIN because we live in a world that is full of sin ( a fallen world) and because we are not perfect, but
Jesus paid the price for our sins when he died on that
cross all we have to do is repent of our sins , take him into our life, & try our best to do HIS will & not ours

Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. Jesus didn't do a "terrible" job, He came here and and died on the cross for our sins, and all we have to do is repent, ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ to come into our hearts.
And comparing Jesus Christ to a can of beer, will not get you any brownie points.

GOD gave us all free will, everybody got a wee bit over the top with their sins, so HE came down to give us another chance - And guess what, hardly anybody has listened and we are all at it again. There will be a 3rd time but you must accept Jesus as your saviour - or else

Congratulations Corona, for pointing out just a couple of the more glaring doctrinal absurdities of Christianity.

You're obviously bright enough to recognize the errors in the logic that resulted in this doctrine, but are you smart enough to penetrate the truth of why Jesus lived on earth? or are you just another childish troll enamored with your own cleverness?

He took away the judgement we would have to face otherwise because of our sinful nature. He didn't take away the sin itself because He gave us free will to decide to live for Him.
