It is written that God has exalted His Name above all Names, and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and tongue confess "Yeshua Messiah Yahweh / Adonai.".

(Yahweh (Jehovah) is the name above all names.)

Thanks to Jehovah Witnesses giving me good answers.

It is written the LORD (Yahweh) they God (Elohim) is One (ahed) LORD.

At the name of Jesus every knee should bow & tongue confess Jesus Christ LORD. I believe this is the Humanity side of Jesus that raised from the dead. The Diety of Jesus in the OT was LORD also. Elohim is plural of El. One is unity. The One LORD God is Father, Word & Holy Spirit. So, the Word of God became one of us and dwelt among us.

Elyh/ El is the Father. As Jesus cried out El, El why have you forsaken me? Singular, not Elohim Plural. El is the Father, because Elohim broke for us when Jesus bore our sins on the cross.

Elohim Yahweh is the God of Israel and Christians.

I suggest everyone who reads this thread, compare the scriptures posted by Jehovah Witnesses with other translations. The New World Translation Bible utilized by JW's has changed 99% of the scriptures which refer to God and Jesus as the same person to support their beliefs.

Thus, if you read the scriptures posted here by Witnesses, it will give the impression their OPINIONS are in agreement with the Bible. It is subtle twisting of truth.

Note: There may be clerical errors in other translations, but the overall meaning of the scripture remains in tact. The New World Translation, is the ONLY translation, that has changed these particular scriptures, for the sole purpose of changing meaning.

Just a thought.

confident we do confess Jesus as our real Lord. merely as a million Corinthians 8:5-6 shows, "For even although there are people who're talked approximately as “gods,” no remember if in heaven or in the international, merely as there are various “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actual to us one God the daddy, out of whom all issues are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, via whom all issues are, and we via him." As you could study, Jesus Christ is our Lord, at a similar time as Jehovah is our God. We take the Bible's view on each thing. a similar won't be able to be reported of d.ok. I even have never study this variety of load of compost here in an prolonged time. not in spite of David "i'm a Pastor" who recycles a similar decrease & paste on each question. None have any wisdom of the two the Bible nor Jehovah's Witnesses. although Lord and Savior are 2 diverse titles and interest descriptions, Jesus the Christ fulfills them the two notably.

The premise of this so-called "question" is false.

There are nearly 7 million Jehovah's Witnesses spreading the teachings and salvation of Christ every month. About 17 million associate themselves with Jehovah's Witnesses, and the vast majority perform at least some informal witnessing.

It would seem that few (or none) among the globe's other religions does MORE than Jehovah's Witnesses to confess the Christ as Lord. In fact, their series of conventions for summer 2007 (into 2008) is entitled "Follow the Christ District Convention".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jehovah's_Witnesses_conventions

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Here is the full citation which this questioner paraphrased above:

(Philippians 2:9-11) God exalted him [Jesus] to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground, 11 and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

That is the litmus test of the New Testament: To confess the name of Jesus.

We asked two witnesses if they could call on the name of the Lord with us, as stated in Rom 10:9-10, and they refused. We invited them to simply call out loudly in public, "Jesus is Lord! Jesus is Lord!"

They we're not expecting that. And the ladies said that they couldn't do that. They're countenace completely changed. It was the saddest thing I've experienced when sharing the Lord to someone.

Because the scripture says: No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus El Gibor, which is Mighty God in Hebrew.
El Gibor is also used in Jeremiah 32:18 and in the same scripture calls Him Jehovah of armies.

The claim that He is a God, just not the almighty God and at the same time claim there is only one God when they have 2.
Logic and reasoning does not prevail with them.
Only the Spirit of the Living God can open their eyes.
But then again, the Spirit is only an "active force" to them, even though he took on the bodily form of a dove, can speak, can be grieved, can be lied to ....etc

Jehovah is the Father and Jesus Christ is the son of Jehovah. Jesus is not God Almighty. read ps 83 verse 18 in the king james bible. God has a name above every name. Jesus never said he was God. yes he said you seen me you seen the Father, he was saying that he can mirror his Father in the heaven. who was Jesus praying to? not himself. he said that he can not do anything without the Father in heaven. I am tired of people saying we are a cult. a cult worships a man. we worship Jehovah and Jesus Christ. we are in 236 lands and live in our own homes. a cult lives together.

They DO confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, but they DON'T confess that He is God. Whether this belief is enough to get them into heaven is Jesus' call.

But I'm in complete agreement with you, their concept that Jesus is the "incarnate Angel Michael" is not Scripturally supported. All we can do is urge them to repent, but in the end, we will all be judged for our works.

Luke 12:47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

What scripture is that? Or what translation?

If that's from the New Testament, it wouldn't have Yawheh in the
original text.

Perhaps you are referring to the scripture here: Philippians 2:8, 9: “More than that, when he (Jesus) found himself in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient as far as death, yes, death on a torture stake. For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name.”

This passage does not mean that since only Jehovah has a name absolutely above every other name, Jesus must be the same person as Jehovah. As the context in Philippians chapter 2 shows, Jesus received his elevated name after his resurrection. Before that, he did not possess it. On the other hand, Jehovah has always been supreme, and his position has never changed. The fact that Jesus received a name higher than the name he had before his earthly service proves that he is not the same as Jehovah. When Paul said that Jesus was given a name above every other name, he meant that Jesus now has the highest name of all God’s creatures.
What is Jesus’ high name? Isaiah 9:6 helps us to answer. In prophesying about the coming Messiah, Jesus, that verse says: “The princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” Here Jesus’ “name” has to do with his high position and authority, which is also how we understand “the name that is above every other name” mentioned at Philippians 2:9. Every knee is commanded to bend to Jesus in recognition of the high position of authority that Jehovah has given to him—a position of authority higher than that given to any other creature. The word “other” in this translation is not directly represented in the underlying Greek text, but it is implied by the sense of the verse. Jesus’ “name” is not above his own name but is above every other creature’s name. "For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28  But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone." (1 Cor. 15:27, 28.)

As humans, we can bow the knee in recognition of Jesus’ name. We do this by subjecting ourselves to Jesus in the elevated and powerful position given to him by Jehovah—“to the glory of God the Father.”—Philippians 2:11; Matthew 28:18.
