How exactly is marriage sanctimonious?? Recent studies show that in 2000, 2,355,005 were married in the USA, while 957,200 divorces were finalized that same year - and this doesnt count the number of annullments either.

So, with nearly every 1 out of 2 marriages ending in divorce in America today, how exactly can ANYONE claim that marriage is sanctimonious??

Does anyone really think the bigots care whether it is genetic or not?

Do we think if they find out it isn't a choice they'll grant us full civil rights the next day and offer apologies?

They know people of color don't choose their race...and yet they still hate them...why would we be any different?

Note: I'm not saying I think sexual orientation is genetic or is choice...I'm just curious why it is so important to people.

Why don't str8 people harass their grandparents the same way they do samesex couples?

Lets be honest, grandma and grandpa are still having sex in the privacy of their bedroom and it is highly doubtful that they will have any children. So they are wasting their seed no differently than same sex couples, right?

I challenge all the str8 people, that continually come here to voice their opinions about same sex couples, to go home tonight and visit or call your grandparents and tell them how disgusting they are for loving one another!

Am I the only one repulsed by this treatment of women in islam? I don't want muslimah posting how liberating islam is for you - the facts are there to see. And yes, I have read the koran and understand islam, so don't come out with the 'you don't understand islam' baloney.

An unbiased study of Quran shows that far from being a “miracle” that book is a hoax. Once Quran is scrutinized with rational thinking, almost every sentence proves to be false.
