Walking along quite a busy footpath, you spot 1 penny [yanks 1 dime] on the ground, would you pick it up or ignore it.

If it was a dime yes I'd pick it up, but definitely not a penny. As far as those things go, I'm usually the one responsible for it lying on the ground anyway.

Pick it up! Of course, why leave good money lying around. We used to live at a marina, and super glued a quarter to the walkway to the restaurant, it was a blast watching people trying to pick it up..LOL
Found a roll of bills in a parking lot, was about 17 bucks, picked that up too!!

Watch your pennies and your dollars will take care of themselves. The richer the person, the more likely they will pick it up because they are good at saving and wise economics. I would pick it up.

Hell yues Id pick it up. But, God didnt leave it - unless God is some forget person who drops money...
Heck, when I was younger, I used to glue $0.25 to the ground to watch people struggle to pick it up!

If we spot any coins on the ground - pennies, nickels and dimes - then put it in our "moneypot" at home, giving thanks for the providence.
