Which part of you decides to make you choose your religion?

Think for a moment before answering this question,
If two people who are genius presented to them a religion for the first time, one of them accepted while the other refused it and he decided to be an Atheist. Which part makes them decided different opinion?
Answers: 1- IQ is not accepted …why? Because we see people with low IQ are Atheist and visa versa
2- free will is not accepted because am talking about convincing.

Simply both Atheist and believer in god know the same information but have different opinion.
If you believe that you know the answer please answer it.

If God created evil, then He shouldn't complain about it! If, on the other hand, someone else (Satan?) created it, then God is not the only creator... Lastly, if evil has always existed, then it shares the same status as God!

Ok I know what the stages are and all the dandy stuff, but what I'm asking about is how did they get people to believe this stuff? Yes Yes, in a way it's like the bible, but at least we have proff of those happenings. Instead they pour out the science saying something that event the creator of thetheory denonced it on his death bed! Tell me if you believe this theory or not please.

Or maybe gay bashers trolling for victims? Putting your picture and high school on an unsecured internet site with little monitoring seems pretty hazardous on both sides, even if these honies do claim to be legal. If they are who they say they are, do you think this practice is a good idea?

do you tell me that my God was so weak that his mother was taking care of him, teach him how to walk, dress him up, calm him down when he cries?

"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.", but yet Christians still think that stem cell research is wrong, homosexuality is wrong, and this and that are wrong. How is that possible, if the God that you worship in the Bible states that he made everything, then why so much wrong with the world and everything that goes on? And blaming it on the devil takes away the position that God created EVERYTHING (if you are not sure check definition), if the devil creates something, then God did not create everything.

becoz gluttony is a deadly sin and sloth is a deadly sin and ur body is a temple and if you eat too much you are aglutton and if you don't excercise you are a sloth and they are a drain on our economy becoz they can't work like normal people can becoz they get winded taking elevators and God doesn't want us to have to pick up there slack so he made it a sin to be like that, does anybody agree? praise Jesus!

I was born and raised a Catholic however due to the hypocrisy of the faith I have not attended church for over 10 years. However I would love to know how other's feel about this?

I do not mean to offend, I am genuinly interested in this. My mum could not take communion as she was divorced, however my aunt in the next parish could? How can this be a fair religion?

How can priests preach to us to love one another - then tell us things like homosexuals are wrong and sinful? How can one priest allow a gay man in his congragation yet another can say no?

Please can you explain this as it may help me make sense of things?

addendum to above - I feel that some words are intrinsically singular in concept - eg Sainsburys or the Green Bay Packers or England or Manchester United - take for example 'Paramount pictures presents' - looks plural but is a 'company' ie a singular concept - sorry if this question seems a little 'anoraky' - opinions please

This is one thing I have never understood. A person either believes in God or doesn't believe in God, it's that simple. With everything I see in the world and all of the research I have done I come to the conclusion that there is no God. I gaurantee I could go to chuch the rest of my life and pray and tell God that I'm accepting him into my life and what ever else I need to do to get to heaven, but in your heart of hearts you can't make yourself believe anything. I can lie to myself, God, and the world, but does that get me into heaven? There are millions of people in the world that do this everyday. They want to believe inorder to get to heaven so they do everything right. Since God can read minds he must know that people like this truly don't believe right? My point is that if it is true that (Truly) believing is needed to get to heaven then it isn't a choice that one can make.

i am talking about the God who created you and created me. the God of Adam and Eve, the one who send Abraham, Isaac, Moses. the God who sent Jesus to you, the God of heavens and earth. isn't this suppose to be the only God who you should worship, isn't that one of the most important commandment of God?
