Sounds like you are not from the USA. But anyway, the Fourth of July is celebrated on July 4th!
Why would they call it the fourth of July if it was not celebrated on the fourth of July? Maybe they should call it the fifth of June or the third of May or the first of August!!

The Fourth of July is one of five holidays that in the US are celebrated on their set days. So every year we celebrate it on the Fourth day of July. All other are moved to the nearest Monday to the date traditionally marked as the date.

In the USA the fourth of July is our Independance Day and celebrated on the 4th of July.......
