According to Vedic culture, the cow is one of seven sacred mothers, including, Mother Earth, our birth Mother, the Nurse, etc.... WIth a cow, and an acre of land, one can live self-sufficintly, off the grid, and not have to participate in the madness of consumerism, the exploitation and death of citizens of other countries for their resources. Cow dung has a higher combustibility than wood or coal, used as a free and natural fuel, from milk, butter cheese, yogurt, can be produced for valuable nutritional content. Clarified butter is an amazing medicine that has been used in Ayurvedic natural healing for millenia to cure everything from a coma, to blindness. Considering all of these contributions, how can people be so brain dead to think that the dog is a better friend than the cow ? People in China are looked down upon as heartless to eat their dogs, yet in many other parts of the world we think it is "normal" to kill and eat the cow ??!?!?! What kind of paradise is it in which it is forbidden-under threat of loss of love and abandonment, of feeling guilty and ashamed-to eat from the tree of knowledge, ie, to ask questions and seek answers to them. Who was this contradictory God who had the need to create a curious Eve and at the same time forbid her to live according to her true nature? If Adam is not allowed to be aware of what is before his very eyes, he will direct his curiosity to goals far removed from himself as possible, but will always take anxious care not to let his gaze rest on the tree of knowledge planted right in front of him.
Is it surprising then that we prefer to take upon ourselves the hell of blindness, alienation, abuse, deception, subordination and loss of self rather than lose that place called Paradise, which offers us security, but at such a high price?

Ok, since 9/11, I have been unable to fully focus on work, or anything else for that matter. The lack of physical evidence to support the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and therefore, the injustice of those wars, the injustice of having our Constitution shredded as a result of 9/11 and everything else that goes against the very foundation of FREEDOM as related to 9/11 has made me a scatter-brained fool. I am wrapped up in trying to figure a way to exposed the traitors who are now in the White House, Senate and Congress, not to mention the media.

This being the case, and the battle being, as best I can tell, a lost cause, and my mind remaining consumed seeking a solution to said problems, I am all but completely unable to work, exercise, or even smile. I am the most unhappy person I have ever known. I try to be happy. I try to make jokes. I try to get away from the reality of what our own government has done, but I am unable.

Do you think I could qualify as disabled?

The Bible specifically allows for it. The only "rule" written about it is that it's wrong to marry two sisters since they'll compete for attention.

Nearly every Biblical patriarch was a polygamist. God blessed them and multiplied their children because of it. Some of them were even commanded by God to take more wives.

Is polygamy a sin if the Bible endorses it and there's not a single verse in the Bible that condemns it?

Honesty does not mean being rude, judgemental, nor critical of others. It means to be honest with who WE are.

Hi, I'm Russian. I'm making a research for the school diploma. I need to know what Americans think about "family". Could you please write me:
what do you feel when you hear the word family(warm, cold, etc.), how do you perceive family(good, bad, etc.),
how do you picture a family(two people in a big house by the sea, etc.),
notion: the family is...

If you found out this really awesome factoid about your heritage, say you are related to Queen Anne, second wife of Henry the VIII, would you tell or would you keep it to yourself so you dont seem like you are bragging?

don't tell me it's not happening because it happens. whatever u will say, those little girls do have disires, some of those girls from young as 10-15 do have sex with their boyfriends or school mates without confirm the parents. why do they teach youngs kids "sex education" in school? does it make sense when they say "sex can wait" but everything around them encourage them to do it?

so from religious prospective, is it better for a girl to get married? or to have sex with her school mates?

is. I married for 11 years and three young kids. We are in our early 30's. She is a stay at home mom and I have a good management job that pays well. We are all healthy. The point / question is that I sometimes find it funny when someone comments on how they perceive our family. But as I think about it we put a lot of work into that perception. Kind of sad when you think about it. I know that in a lot of what we do one of the factors is normally how others will view it. As I get older I believe more and more that there everyone really is the same and most families are going through the same issues no mater what their income or social status. Money allows you to put better window dressing on it but that is all. So, how surprised do you think we would all be if just for a little while you could pull all the fluff aside and look into what was really going on in other people lives?

I don't see a relationship between the two. Honestly, it seems like opposite-sex marriage has more in common with polygamy than same-sex marriage.

Also, nearly every Biblical patriarch was polygamous (Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, What's-His-Name-Who-Was-Samuel's-Father, etc.) so why do the Christians dislike polygamy and say it shouldn't be legal? I mean, it's not only "okay" in the Bible - it's encouraged!

I'm confused.
