When I hear the word "family", I think of a kind, warm, nurturing environment where I can be myself, surrounded by people and animals who love me. My family is very good; we protect and help each other with no thought of reward.
A family is a group of people who are bonded to each other for life. This can be the traditional nuclear family (parents and children), it can be an extended family (parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins), it can be a single-parent family (parent and child/ren) or it can be a couple (husband & wife, husband & husband or wife & wife). A family unit doesn't even have to be all human; sometimes, a beloved cat or dog can be considered a family member, too.
Love is the bond that holds a family together, not blood. It does not matter if people are genetically related or of the same species. What matters is the love and devotion they give.

A family to me is the group of people who you are related to by blood or close friendship and you feel comfortable with. A family is the people you go to in happy times as well as when you need help to get through tough times... and you know they will always be there for you. I don't think there is a set type of family. Some people have a mom and dad and a big house in the suburbs. Some people have 2 moms and a condo in NYC. Some people have a dad and live in a trailer.... so as you can see it's not about 2 parents, 2 kids, a cat and a dog. Family is unconditional love and acceptence.

A man and a woman who love and respect each other. Who are faithful,lovingand kind with each other. They have children who they love and would protect with there very lives! But, that only happens in a perfect world. It does not exzist.

as quickly as I did not immigrate to the U.S., i theory familiar American households have been those people who wore suits and dined with fork and knife, yet i replaced into 4 then, and that i theory human beings have been English princesses...
