Racism has been around since the beginning of times and it will never go away because people in general always seem to equate differences with being of better or worse quality (examples: eye color, hair color, hair texture, skin color).
In all actuality, none of it matters because if you are a good person, you are good because of what is in you and not because of exterior traits.
Additionally, if you believe that God (or whomever you believe in) is perfect, then how is it that He would give better traits, etc. to one race of people and not another (create man unequally)?
Man has the power to erase racism, but that would take each individual to assess him or herself and make a concious change and this is not going to happen (if it was to happen, this would mean that 100% of the world population has to make that change).
Unfortunately, racism will never go away as long as man exists. All we can do is work on ourselves and make that change within our own hearts to not be racially biased toward others.

NO.
Not until mankind is dead?
Racism is part of the human Psyche.
It's a deep rooted protection mechanism used to bond groups against a perceived threat to resources the group depend on.

No, but I do think it will take new forms over time. The mentality behind racism is that it's "us against them", there will always be people that consider themselves to be "us" and there will always be people that they consider to be "them". Sad but true.

Yeah, once we all breed into one race. But, obviously, that won't be within our lifetime. You have to remember that "equality" has only been established in the past few decades; spanning to the sixties at the most. That's only almost fifty years. These things take time...

no the media and the government keep it going.
they portray what they think of each race therefore if that is all we hear and see we are bound to believe it.
have u noticed how the media always talks about a black racial attack, but not vice-versa. they want us to think only white can be racist, so not true.
