How do I show people at school that I'm a Christian, yet still be popular and be invited to parties and stuff?

Don't judge them, don't try to convert them, don't act superior.

Christians love to party. I play in a Rock band that is playing at my church next month.

You might also find that many of your friends are also Christians but won't admit it.

religion/spirituality doesn't equal popularity. You can wear the paraphenellia but it won't show that you are actually Christian. When you become a true believer it is always in your walk and talk and thoughts, etc. Its not something you can TRY to do. Its something that will come naturally when you get closer to God.
As for parties... your friends will change when you proclaim Jesus' name. you will find out that true friendship doesn't come from popularity. In all honesty, this is probably where you find the fraud friends. Ask God to keep you near to him and send friends who have the same intrersts and form life ling relationships

If you are a true Christian, you know that there are certain things you cannot participate in and be right with God and partying is one of them. If it is a get together of fellow Christians for a meal or for an evening of fun and games then go. Otherwise stay home.

You may be unpopular with some people, but if you live your faith (learn more about who God is, love your neighbor and show the fruits of kindness, joy, and the rest of those listed in Galatians 5:6), that is most important. A true Christian should be like Jesus, who could hang with all kinds of people, not doing what they do, but just hanging with them while being himself and keeping his own identity. You may make some people uncomfortable, but people will respect you much more than if you call yourself a Christian and do what everyone else does.

I don't think popularity is necessarily the greatest goal, but there's no reason you have to be an outcast either.

Probably the best way is just to live your beliefs as best you can. You know the whole "let your light so shine" thing. Be a good example - and support your friends that want to do good, even when it's hard.

good luck - high school isn't forever.

If they don't want you to come, they are not the type of people you want to hang around.Alot of people shy away from us Christians because they don't understand what it is to be saved, and if you tell them, they will think your wierd.Never the less continue to proclaim your love for Jesus.I suggest you find a good church group. You do not need to be shamed and please do not let this"thing to fit in thing" affect your Faith. Your friend,Tim.

Just treat others the way you would want them to treat you. That's all you can do. Just be careful which parties you go to. Reputation is a fragile thing.

Going to parties and stuff is not christian. You have to make a choice.

you should not have to do to much be yourself and remember a few bible verses to use when appropriate. I do not think party's are out but no heavy drinking or lust full encounters.

Crosses make great jewelry, fashion accessories, so wear them. If somebody asks about them answer their questions, otherwise just act like a normal teenager
