I soooo hear you!!! I got a violation yesterday either for calling a the asker an idiot (he asked if people thought women shouldn't exist) or for saying bama grammer (he said something about the world being more better). But he was an idiot and did have bama grammer- I don't think I should have gotten a violation!!

I agree but the problem is all the kids on here. Most parents don't monitor their child activities on the computer so Yahoo steps up and picks up where most parents are lacking. But for the mature audiences, yes, you should have freedom of speech.

Yeah, you got a point there buddy. Ummm howabout this, you respond in a civil manner. I think they do a pretty good job of regulating the content on here. If not it would be chaos. People harrassing you, calling you out of your name, you wouldnt like it, you wouldnt come on here..its a business, they gotta make sure people are satisfied with the product. Everyone, even dirty little immigrants..jk..

Yes, yahoo should let everyone have their say, but if it is putting down a race, sex, religion, age groups, and people who are disadvantaged or have a disablity, than definately NOT.
I didn't know you owned a town! All countries are becoming a multicultural country you have to move with the times.
Which country are you in?

Try giving sane, rational answers for a change.
As far as free speech goes, this is Yahoo's site. They can do whatever they want. If you don't like it, try trolling cragislist.org for a while.

The only way that coud happen is if children do not have access to the site and since they do, you have to more selective on how you answer a question.

it is their site and they can censor as they please, but i do agree with you. but in a forum such as this when you encounter others who think the opposite as you do,you are going to hurt some feelings and they brand you hateful simply because you made a statement they didn't like.
cheers, mate.

It's not actually Yahoo, it's the other participants. When they don't like your Q or A, they report you & yahoo deletes.

huge difference between "free speech"........and hurtful ignorance.......which you seem to show quite often. Simply put, if you want attention.......see if you can get 15 minutes on Dr. Phil.
