Those of us who worship Christ and God (Jehovah, what we'll call the name of the creator God) worship "God" the Trinity. We believe that the "one true God" is three and also one (and He can do that -- He's God.) Therefore, we worship God the Father, the creator God you spoke of, often called the Jehovah God. God the Son, Jesus, is his Son, but is also part of the God Trinity. God the Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the part of God that enters us when we accept him, is the third part.
They are worshipped together and separately at the same time.
It's weird. The way I understand it best is that if God wants to be three "people" and one "person" at the same time, He can, since He's God and can do whatever He wants.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the WORD, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In the beginning: An allusion to Gen.1:1, with the intention of linking Jesus ( the Word) with the God of creation.
The event of Jesus' incarnation, therefore, had cosmic significance. The Word IS Jesus Christ, the eternal, ultimate expression of God. In the old testament God spoke the world into existance; in the gospel God spoke His final word through the living Word, His Son.The phrase "the Word was God" attributes deity to the Word wihout defining all of the Godhead as the Word.
So no one worships Jesus, He is our intercessor. We pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus.

Jesus is part of the trinity....God the Father/God the Son/God the Holy Spirit....(think of it like an egg....it has a shell, a white and a yolk...three parts, one egg)...when you honor Jesus, you honor God. Read your New Testament more, as this goes into greater detail. No one comes before the Father except through Jesus and it was God the Father that gave him this place of honor.

Well the way I always understood it is it says in the bible God said at one point.. when you love my son you love me.. and when you worship him you worship me....I dont think Most christians worship jesus more...because he is part of the"Godhead" which is Jesus God and the holy spirit. You have to respect all three and except all three to love any of them. And they arent the same or why else would jesus be praying to God in the Garden of Gesthemane...He sure wasnt asking himself"father if it be thine will take this cup from me"So they are all three different.

If I remember correctly, the whole thing goes like this: The Trinity, Father (God) Son (Jesus) and Holy Ghost are 3 entities and 1 entity all at the same time. So, Jesus and God are the same. It is kind of confusing.

Christians, in the truest sense of the word, believe Jesus to be God. We worship the Great I Am, Jesus. There are many debatable things in Christianity, this is not one of them. One needs no other texts or manuals other than the bible to come to this position. Cults and sects that hold otherwise are completely dependent upon their own erred publications to make their points.

Are you a Jew If you are I would understand why you asked this question because Jews dont believe that the Messiah has come and I totally respect that, but if you are a Christian or anyone else and you go to church you should know God and Jesus are the same people.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are ALL the same, just different aspects. If you are old enough to be married, you may be a parent, you are most likey somebody's son and you would be a spouse. One person, different aspect. God loves you. Keep trying. YBIC

First of all they are the same....and without the human form of G-d in Jesus, I could never be acceptable to the spirit form, the Father. So if I cant get there except by Jesus, there is no point in talking to the Father except if I first go by the son....get it? got it? good! LOL
Bless you
