If God created evil, then He shouldn't complain about it! If, on the other hand, someone else (Satan?) created it, then God is not the only creator... Lastly, if evil has always existed, then it shares the same status as God!

God created choas, evil, disaster. However you want to understand it. Read Isa. 45:7. But also realize that if God is Holiness then the natural result of not following Him would be Evil.

The Bible also says in Genesis that God created Light and Darkness. This is an obvious reference to Good and Evil. Evil in this sense is not the horrific evil of man's decisions but the choas that exsists in the world.

If "evil" is simply the absence of good, then it is not a "thing" that can be created. That is like asking who created dark.

Since God created freewill, then, in a sense, God made evil. God apparently knew that virtue was not really virtuous unless one had a real choice to bo something evil but choose otherwise, and love is not love unless there is the real possibility of rejection.

Biblically speaking:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Amos 3:5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no grain is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?
3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

God did not create evil!
Lucifer was a very high-ranked angel of God. He deviated from good and evolved as evil.

God however did not choose to destroy him then. Because in doing so, many of the other angels would have been confused as to why. Remember that Satan, convinced a third of the angels to join him.

But in the end, Lucifer and the Fallen Angels will bow before God, acknowledging him as true and just. Then Lucifer and the Fallen Angels will be cast into the Hellfire.

This act will be painful for God, because he created them and at one point Lucifer and the Fallen Angels were so dear and close to him.

**Eddie J; The Flood destroyed, all the wicked and unbelivers in Noah's time. Even though Noah pleaded with them to get in the Arc! And another fact, it did not rain untill 7 days after Noah had entered the Arc.

The same story happened in Sodoma and Gomorrah, God was willing to spare both cities if only 10 just men were to be found in them.

** February Rain; Amos chapter 3, talks about how God will punish those who disobey him, more specifically the people of Israel. He does not however induce Genocides, World Wars or any other atrocity that is man-made. God will use for example earthquakes, to punish sinners.

BTW both your quotes are wrong.
--Isaiah 45:7 says: "I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create DISASTER; I, the Lord, do all these things."

--Amos 3:6 says: "When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When DISASTER comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it?"

The devil was the first one to "show" evil (if that makes any sense) whether he made it, or it was the always there, I don't know. God is the creator of everything GOOD, satan gets credit for the bad (I have no qualms giving him that credit) as for it sharing the same status, no. Even if it DID always exist (still not sure) doesn't mean its as great. A bunny and a bear may be the same age, but if they get in a fight, the bear will win (excuse my bizzare anologies) And God and the angels in heaven will eventually when and destroy evil (satan)

GOOD FROM EVIL

Gen.3:22
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Gen.1:26
God said,"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." WHO IN GOD'S IMAGE?
Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:14; John 3:16;
Jesus first creation created in image of God. John 17:3,5,24; Jesus was with God before the world was. John 8:58; Before Abraham was, Jesus was.

Just because there is evil, is no reason one must partake of it.

Gen.8:21 The imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth.

God is the creater of everything. The only thing satan creat is evil. But who created satan? God did but not with evil. Satan became evil becase he bcame jelous of god. Its like if you have a baby and when he grows up he bcomes a gangmember or does drugs ect. Did you make him that way? I think not. He made that choice. And yes satan is a god. (the god of evil) Its on us to decide which god we want to adore. But you can't be on both sides. You are either with or againsts. And another thing for people who blame god of everything. for example if i C a car driving by and i jump infront of it to get hit/runover and i die, is it gods fault or mine? Who decided that i wanted to die? In 1914 wwII thats the yr when satan was thrown to earth . If you start thinking or read history. U can C that after that year things on earth are getting worst everyday. Think about it,The war started for a dum reason. The murder of a queen and king . Y would the whole world go to war for something like that? We are the ones destroying earth.

If God created everything, then by definition he created evil as well as good. In fact, God was not above doing evil things himself...genocide, mass murder, and so on. Whatever "good" things he might have done since can't erase the evil actions.

Well, even the bible states that god created evil. God also killed millions, and even innocent infants who could not get on Noah's wooden contraption, or escape brimstone after Lot ran away with his sexually abused daughters.

This answer gives me 666 points and all the powers that Satan promised me!!

God did not directly create evil. Freedom of choice created evil.
