I believe that some force created the universe.
I am thanful for that force's efforts and love that force for doing us all such an awesome service.
I feel that force is not hiding, but simply outside our comprehension.
Consider a parking lot, not very complex - just gravel and asphalt mixed with water, sprayed then pressed. But ants who may live on that parking lot would never begin to possibly guess how that parking lot got there! It's obvious from our frame of reference but completely incomprehensible to those tiny living creatures that occupy it's space.
So I feel that the creator of our universe sits just outside our frame of reference in much the same way.
The bible? Written by insane people, fiction writers looking to make a name, and politicians. That's it.
Jesus, Muhammad, Abraham?
Part legend - part man. More like Paul Bunyan than George Washington.
Heaven and Hell?
Cmon how does a rational person believe the entire universe and whole of space and time is a single round of craps where losers suffer ETERNAL suffering and pain????
Believe that our reality was created by an intolerant bigotted, omnipitent version of tinkerbell who demands belief or else he will impart the worst horrific revenge humanly imaginable upon you......?
Frankly I believe this God stereotype was created by ancient mages and mystics who were competing against other mystics for numbers in their congregation. They used the unknown fear of life after death to persuade villagers. The old testament you see god actually popping up in person telling people to believe in no other gods before me.... Who were these other gods anyway?
Perhaps other local shamans???
I love the planet - and I love it's inhabitants - and I love our creator. All that other rubbish will eventually go the same way as worshipping the sun. It's inevitable - we are evolving culturally and intellectually as well as physically.

I believe that religion is mostly concocted by man, in order to control people. If the masses can be convinced that some sort of all-powerful entity wants them to behave a certain way, it's far more likely that they will do so. As opposed to some bloke just telling people to do this or that; if that bloke can convince people that he's got a message from god, then people are far more likely to obey.
Also, I ain't no scientist, but I suspect that humans are the only life-form on Earth to recognize their own mortality, at a relatively early age. This awareness of our eventual demise scares the sh*t out of most of us. To help make that unpleasant reality less scary, we've made up this fairy-tale about heaven, and god and Abraham and JC. It's little more than a lucky rabbit's foot. Religion also helps w/ the, seemingly, inevitable self-doubt which afflicts everybody from time to time. Faith provides us w/ a spiritual crutch, w/ which to prop ourselves up. Make no mistake, though, it is a fictive spirituality.
In short, religion provides people w/:
A chance for life after death.
A means of coping w/ life's challenges.
A method of controlling the herd.
A way to answer the 3 questions.
Why are we here?
Where do we come from?
Where are we going?
I've got plenty more to say, but this is too long already.
Salaam.

I believe there is a higher being. I believe that there are definitely life forms, including humans, in other universes. I believe in evolution, but that we got our spirts/souls/ability to love and be compassionate from a higher being. I want to believe that there is more to life than here on earth, but I'm not sure about life after death or reincarnation...I would like to believe there is a heaven. I don't think there is a hell. I believe that EVERYONE, no matter what gender/race/relgion deserves the same human rights, and that sometimes religion in general deprives certain groups of those rights. I believe that religion is an extremely personal thing, and all of the dogma that comes along with Catholicism (what I was baptized as) just doesn't work for me. For me, Love is my religion...and I consider myself a humanist. I obtain peace from inside of myself and seeing the best in people, not what other people tell me is true. I also beleive it is possible to be a great human being, with morals and standards and values, and not believe in anything at all.
Peace!

I'm Wiccan.
I believe that there is a divine spirituality to nature. I believe that this divinity can be visualized in many ways - as a single nature Goddess and sun God or as a polytheistic collection of gods and goddesses, each containing a different aspect of the whole.
I believe that the only really important thing in life is to be happy and to live your life well without deliberately causeing harm to others.

I believe I am a daughter of God, my Heavenly Father. I believe I also have a Heavenly Mother. I believe that Jesus Christ is my elder Brother, that he suffered for my sins and died for me so that I might also be resurrected. I believe we lived with our Heavenly Parents and everyone else before we came to this earth. I believe our families and marriages can last for eternity if we make & keep certain covenants...
I believe there are many worlds that were created, not just ours. I believe there are other gods of those other worlds.
I believe that Joseph Smith saw God, our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I believe Joseph received all the keys of the Priesthood and restored the gospel to the earth for the last time, never to be taken from the earth again.
I believe that Christ will personally reign upon the earth someday and that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisical glory. I believe that we will all attain glory in one of our Heavenly Father's Kingdoms - Celestial, Terrestrial or Telestial.

Why would I want to not share my beliefs with someone else. Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. I have a responsibility to myself and others to tell them the good news that Jesus died for them to provide a way for them to be forgiven of their sins so they can go to heaven. Hear the word, Believe the Word, Repent of your sins, Confess Jesus before men, and be baptized for the remission of sins. and remain faithful til death. This is the way to the cross and it has not changed in 2000 years. This is the good news and there are millions the world over who have not heard it.

I believe Jesus as the son of God, incarnate in human flesh to show me the way back to God and to live for eternity with Him in heaven when I trust Jesus as Lord and Saviour since He is 100%God and 100% human and is the way, the truth and the life. Of course, I believe the Bible as the word of God which teaches us to live a godly and holy life acceptable as citizen of the kingdom of God. What is important is to know that Jesus brings to me the knowledge that God is to be worshiped as our Heavenly Father. That is the difference. Then I believe that God is omnipresent, omniscience and omnipotent. In view of this, I believe as is stated by Jesus that those who believe in Him, wonders and miracles will follow for those who believe. God bless you. You will find no any other religion has such a wonderful feature or promises of hope to those who believe in Jesus, the saviour of the world.
