Or maybe gay bashers trolling for victims? Putting your picture and high school on an unsecured internet site with little monitoring seems pretty hazardous on both sides, even if these honies do claim to be legal. If they are who they say they are, do you think this practice is a good idea?

It's an EXTREMELY unsafe thing to do, every person, regardless of age should be very careful about making personal information available. The unfortunate thing about teenagers is that they identify themselves and their individualities through things that seem innocent - i.e. sports, school, clubs, towns, etc. But a lot of pedophiles are also called "predators" for a reason, they are good hunters and will gather information on people to ultimately try and violate someone.

It is certainly a horrible thing for a kid to go through, but the advice should go for anyone and not just teenaged girls. Stalkers aren't always pedophiles, but they fall into the same category as a predator...

And if there are cops here I hope that they catch any and all pedophiles...

1. Some of them are real, they're the one's who's schools haven't blocked yahoo answers yet.
2. Some of them aren't real, many people on here impersonate other people for fun, hate, or mischeif.
3. There probably shoud be a few e-cops parusing these entries, but not trolling, that's still entrapment.
4. No, I don't think that practice is a good idea and that if some parents saw what their kids were putting on here, they'd flip out.

good possibility, Thats why I don't have my real name (although the rest is very real) listed. I only answer post if I have the required information, do not try to force my beliefs on anyone else or publical try to contact someone. I have my information listed and can reply to questions through e-mail if "I" want to.

I think this site If used as intended is a very helpfull informative site and can help many people as long as imature narrowminded people with self inflated images of themselves don't fill up the bandwidth with their bullsh*t. I'm not normally this blunt but you did ask for an opinion. Hope this helped.

The practice is a very BAD idea in my opinion. This is speaking as a parent. I don't allow my kids to put identifying information on the web. (I check what sites they visit.)

As for bashers and vice, there probably are a few of those out there as well.
