Hello,

Just want to say from the start that I believe in TRUE Christianity.

The question that I have has always seemed to give me headaches (if I think about it to hard) and it just might be that there really isn't an answer for this but here goes anyway.

Everything that we know of has a begining (both seen and unseen), even the God's only begotten first born Son who was sent to earth to become Jesus the Annointed (a.k.a Jesus Christ) had a begining. However, The Almighty Father of Christ (JEHOVAH God) is said to have no begining and has ALWAYS been in existence before anything else ever existed. Is there any way to make this more easier to grasp?

I believe it to be true by faith and by coming to the conclusion that if JEHOVAH had a creator then one would wonder how THAT creator came into being and so on and so forth, so I figure IT HAS to start with Him, I just want to know if there is anyone who can better explain it (using OWN words and the Bible please)?

I had taken a beginners class of Mandarin my first year of college and got through it pretty well at the age of 17 with no continuation of it afterwards.I am now 22, I speak English (native) and Turkish (both fluently), I plan to spend the next three summers in Beijing whilst studying Mandarin in the States. How long do you think it would take me to learn to speak fluent Mandarin and also to write proficiently? Thank you.

Christians, what do you think that God means by righteousness? And how do you develop this?

(this is an issue that I'm trying to learn more about, thanks!) While I do read the Bible, I find it helps me to talk about these issues with other people to understand these concepts more.

Would returning our diamonds to Sierra Leone help the problem? Does someone know how to set up or contact a charitable organization where people could send their diamonds and have the cash value of those diamonds used to help the people of Sierra Leone? People seem to resent an opinion expressed in a declarative manner, taking it as an invitation to argue or debate. Consequently, we tend to venture, rather than declare, our opinions. For example, instead of saying "child molesters should be horse whipped," people tend to write "child molesters should be horse whipped, in my opinion." Putting it that way seems to confer some protection against being challenged or getting into an argument. It would be better if people expressed their opinions confidently, in a declarative manner, in my opinion.

So he came over today and he comes in and asks me where my sister is and said shes upstairs getting ready. So he sits down on the couch and he starts talkin and says to me whats up brother have you heard about christ? I'm like WTF? I'm not your brother. I dont know if thats something you christian losers say to each other but i'm not your brother i'm not a christian and i dont believe in any gods. And then he tells me brother dont you wanna live eternally with the lord and i tell him to f#ck off. So he comes up to me and tries to hand me a bible and i tell him i'm gonna count to 3 if you dont back off i'm gonna hit you one, two, THREE RAAAAAHHH and then he doesnt back off and next thing you know he's on the floor. My sister comes down and shes like whats going on down here OH MY GOSH why is he on the floor. And i'm like he fell. Why do some people think they can try and convert me to there bullshlt without reprocussions?

Before you bash evolution or religion think about this and tell me what you honestly think:
Evolution incorporates a concept known as "deep time." The theory that the earth is billions of years old. A number this large is inconceivable to the human mind....try as you will, it's impossible to imagine 13 billion years in your head! Therefore, isn't evolution an idea held by faith alone? I mean, no one was there to testify to the veracity of billions of years, right? An idea held by faith...religion? I've heard about carbon and radioactive dating...but I question their consistent accuracy.
Also, evolution eliminates the possibility of a divine God; you can't prove there is a God, but you also can't prove that there isn't a God...making claims about something outside of scientifically testable ideas (namely God) isn't scientific, it's opinion.
What do you think?
