It helps me a lot when I try to think about how to please God and how he would judge me.
just keep in mind the phrase
" How would God think of me if I do this? "
i think that helps.

The Bible said - the wages of sin is death. It also says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
To prove how God hates sin look at how he got rid of sinfull people through the flood at Noah's time.
Also look at Sodom and Gommorah: Sexual immorality , both heterosexuals and homosexuals were fried. By the way the act of homosexuality is called Sodomy. The Bible strongly warns that unrepented homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom( so does
unrepentent other sinners ).

Sin is like a snowball rolling down a very tall mountain.
The more you sin, the more you tend to want to sin.
The less you sin, the less you find the inclination to want to sin.
A sinful man is obscured in religious sight, that's why their eyes are blinded. A wise man learns when chastised. A fool scolds you back when you teach him.

i'm no longer a Christian, yet I usually attempt to dodge sin because of the fact sin so usually consists of having the police stated as on me, chatting with divorce criminal professionals, dropping money and/or getting punched interior the face at a night club. So i assume it is not likely sin that i'm warding off, yet quite the end results of sin that i'm attempting to evade.
