Go eat somewhere nice, putt putt golf maybe, game rooms. Putt putt places usually have game rooms. Zoo's are nice.

I've been a single parent for twelve years and it doesn't really matter what you do just act like a big kid yourself and have fun and so will they no matter what you do.

A really good idea is going to a science center for kids. A lot of the things are very interactive for both you and him and it's quality time spent together. Plus it's educational fun.

#1 is to ask him what he would like to do.

take him to an amusement park

or if he is into skating like skatebording or roller skating do that

he may still like the park but not sure

putt putt is fun

bowling

camping somewhere if you can and the weather is nice that might be nice for the two of you

fishing bc you will be doing something and you guys can talk

take him out to eat

take him to the mall and walk around and maybe buy something for him

good luck hope you guys have fun.

Do you have anything that interests you that you could teach him? I always learned a lot from my dad when we did things he was interested in, like hiking, kite flying, going to the zoo. Also sometimes just going for a drive just to see where you end up and watching the scenery is fun (just be sure to bring a map!).

A good hike on a wooded trail is cool. It gives you a tremendous opportunity to talk. My 14 year old daughter and I do that often and we talk about everything. I think it gives her practice for when she someday has really serious things to discuss with me.

Video games. Sports.

Depends. Where are you?

Maybe just "be" together. Talking.

Not much togetherness at a movie.
