Why do women feel the need to say such nice things to each other when they are together, only to say horrible things about them (or their husbands, boyfriends, children, etc) the moment they are apart?

It seems to me that it would be so much easier to just tell each other (politely) how you feel and just work the problem out or avoid one another. What do you think?

My parents raised me to make my own choices concerning my spiritual path....and I have been looking for some time now for a religion that shares my particular view points. I stumbled across a book about wicca in the ladies room at work and began to read it. I have since returned the book and purchased some of my own....my question.... is there anyone in this section who has switched from christian to wiccan and how did you deal with your feelings during the switch and know it was the right religion for you? I was baptist before and they kinda brainwash you away from all other religions and I don't know any one to teach me the "old" ways or to explain how they apply the religion to thier day to day lives. If you know any websites or places for good info (not interested in black magick or evil type worship) please let me know. Thanks!

this, to my experience has been true. Being in the military I've been around from europe to middle eastern muslim countries and I'm always welcomed. It may be that to some American=$ but by far and large I think MOST ppl can distinguish individuals from their government or policy. What do you think?

Please tell me whether the following sentence is wrong.

Then teachers have to assist students as much as possible during the courses, which demands both effort and skill.

I feel the use of "which" is questionable. Thanks!

I will make a long story short, yesterday I worked from 3:30pm until 9:15am the person that was supposed to come in at midnight called in sick and then the person that was supposed to come in at 7:30am was very late. Tonight I am working from 6pm until 8pm and making damn good money (double time holiday/overtime pay). Thats the background just a minute ago I ran into the store and the cashier who knows my situation said something about all the hours I am putting in. Then this young overweight black single mom with 3 kids says to me "I wouldn't have come back"

To which I replied "and that's why you will never be anything other than what you are now, it's not my fault one person is ill and the other had a flat tire, and I don't mind the money"

I guess the question is two fold was I wrong for telling her why she won't ever succeed in life and why don't people want to work anymore?

Can people actually convert to Orthodoxy? Are most Orthodox, like most Catholics, more liberal than most evangelicals and Protestants? Are most Orthodox pretty devout?

Someone give me a *real* answer. Don't say because God/The Bible say its wrong or because you think its disgusting or something else that has no thought proccess behind it. Give me a real answer. I'm pretty sure you wont be able to, because it all comes down to fear and hatred of the unknown. You don't understand it, so you label it as wrong and make up Gods and standards of society to tell you the same.

I had hear ignorant people to say that ASL is easy because is not a real language, also many stated that ASL is signed English. But for those of you who think that ASL and English are grammaticaly identical, then you would not have difficulty translanting these sentences to ASL. and any deaf person would be able to understand such tranlation.

1. Man is the architec of his own destiny.
2. During World War II, a French soldier was later condecorated by the president for destroying 50 german trenches.
3. I love you from here to the Moon

Is it Easy?

I always vowed that i would never date anyone out of my race. I was always attracted to blonde hair and blue eyes. But I met this girl who we're friends now and more and more I can't stop thinking about her. I find her the most beautiful woman in the world. But she's black. I used to be a racist but with me attracted to her I feel myself changing. I want to know more about her, her culture (she's actually from Africa). I don't consider myself racist anymore because I realize what an @ss I've been with my thoughts and opinions on other races. Is this love that's changing me or what? Now I'm looking at other black women online just to see what she looks like with her clothes off. Is that normal?

After all those god forsaken, gun slingling, loud mouthed, fat cowboys have been holding the world to ransom for the last 60 years, it is time they had a taste of their own medicen.

PS beware the odds are in their favour 5000 - almost negible.

I have seen angels and ghosts for many years but psychiatrists see it one way and religious individuals the exact opposite.

So what is the difference between a true hallucination and a spiritual experience (e.g. seeing an angel, having an NDE/OBE, seeing/hearing a ghost, pre-birth communication, after death communication, etc)?

Would psychiatrists attempt to rule out genuine spiritual experiences before classifying them as hallucinations, and vice versa? Or would they automatically assume the patient is experiencing a hallucination without delving further into the matter at hand?

I think this war as gone on for long enough, we just need a happiness enema, the whole world does. We at least need to stop fighting for one day, everyone in the world does. I'm trutlhly sick of this war and religion, so bring it on, sure insult my "cover" and don't forget about how I probably have no emotions since I say I'm sick of religion, but if you have not sinned nor been to chruch to beg God for his forgiveness then you shall cast the first stone, good luck with that.

Shopping for panties and bras and wanted some panties from the 5 for 25 table. I got to the register and my total was way higher than it was supposed to be......I asked why?.....she tried explaining and told me to tell the woman at the front to help me(she was white)

I simply walked up to her smiled and said which one on the table here are 5 for 25. She said all of them and I told her what happened.

She went and told the people at the register that I was totally upset and that I was really mad at them which was completely untrue. She made it seem as if I were the angry black woman who was about to beat everybody up in the store

Do you think it had anything to do with race or am I looking too deeply into it?

Don't get me wrong: i'm a strong Christian who could do better. but at this conference called Dare2Share, Greg Stier got me thinking. what would u say? i would say "even if i'm wrong, i've had a better life for believing. i've met new and wonderful friends, and i've had a character i'm proud of." i mean, its a question i've asked my non-Christian friends, and i feel its only fair that i have a good answer too.
