Everytime something goes wrong in the relationship you go and run and tell your mother. I mean every detail. I want to know when do you draw the line.

Asking mom for advice on difficult issues is one thing, but gushing out every gory detail is another. How good of an example is mom? If she has been happily married to dad for 30+ years, fine. Have lots of stepdads? Forget it, mom is not the best one to run to for relationship advice!

If a person is not man/woman enough to deal with the ups and downs of an average relationship, they are too immature to even be in one in the first place.

Depends on the kind of mother you have.

Can she see things objectively and give you a smack in the head if you need it?
