My upstairs neighbor is a small, middle aged man and he stomps all day and night. It sounds like he is running a marathon up there. It awakens me out of a sound sleep. I left a note asking him if he was all right because it sounded like something fell. He wrote back and said it wasn't him. Spoke with landlord and she just tried to make me feel bad because "He is such a nice guy" -- I realize this isn't that big of a problem but does anyone have any suggestions? It's getting really old. I banged on the ceiling with my broom the other day but it didn't even faze him.

i am sick off ppl staring at me (i know im good lookin but gosh)everytime i walk into a store im looked at like im goin to steal something (i have enough money to buy them G.D. stores)or me and some guyfriends walk behind a mother and little kid and she clutches him and starts walkin fast ahead

No other religion in history would have depicted their gods in this way. They were strong! Respected! They never had a depiction of osiris all chopped up into little bitty bits as he was before his resurrection, that would have been unthinkable and his followers would have viewed it as an atrocity--blasphemy! Do you really think that Jesus God appreciates this depiction(especially since graven images are a big no no)?

Do you belive citizens should carry guns, here in youngstown some one is killed every day or every other day. there was just one a couple of hours ago. i think noone should carry guns but the police.

As part of a holiday 'project' i decided to ask a couple of questions being interested to know how much the 'average' American knew about Australia. With the exception of the obvious query as to if they knew the name of our Prime Minister, anything about our system of government (surely that comes under general knowledge?) i did not mention anything remotely political. I was totally UNinterested in the political aspect.Most people know all there is to know or indeed all they WANT to know about world politics. The subject matter is done to death, tediously repetitious bringing out those obsessively dedicated to a single ideology. I was simply curious as to the extent of American awareness of our common heritage plus comments on Australian geography, lifestyle etc. Was i a naive idiot !! What i copped was a tirade of accusations i.e we have a racist Prime Minister, ARE a racist people who neglect our aborigines etc etc.
NOW my FINAL question -- why are Americans so filled with hate?

Men and women are allowed to marry. So how is gays asking to be married anything special?

If you are against gay marriage, fine. Don't marry a gay person. Otherwise it is none of your business. There is no room in our laws for any ridiculous religious dogma that makes no sense.
