Well, it's nice up here, but not quite as nice as I'd expected ... almost wish I'd had more fun in life. You're not missing too much.

Not jealous of anything in any way...able to take in and enjoy everything at once, completely open minded seeing the beauty in everything completely humble and in awe.

My religion, Judaism, essentially says the afterlife can be heaven or hell based on how much you honestly appreciate God's work and work toward creation with it. So, basically, if you put a racist who blindly chooses to hate blues and playing guitar in a "heaven" of black blues guitarists, he'd be in hell because he can not appreciate it...meanwhile put someone who loves the blues, plays guitar, and is not racist there and he'd be in heaven.
It's the same idea the people who can appreciate and work with the creation will be happiest, and those who aren't will either have to learn how to appreciate it (kind of like Purgatory), or stay miserable.

Many religions support this view of the afterlife, even those who don't call the state of afterlife heaven or hell. The basis of what makes something ALIVE is it's ability to create things consciously and feel guilt or pride about it, not simply change their environment (IE wind changes the environment, but does not decide to do it, so obviously wind is not alive by this definition).
