I realize this needs A LOT of editing, but what do you think so far? Does it have a good message?Title: Where is my life heading?

Typical question.....That pertains to anyone of any age. When you're 12 you might wonder, "What's highschool gonna be like?", when you're 15 you might wonder, "Where does my future lie, what's my career going to be, what college will I attend?", when you're 22 you might wonder, "Wow, so this is life after college...The REAL world.. What will I make of it? Will I succeed?",

27: "I've got a career...But am I really happy with it?"

29: "Oh God, I'm almost 30.....What's become of me?"

37: "Only a few years until...Soon, I will be heading into 'middle-aged'.... Sigh...Have I done everything I wanted to do before I turn 40?"

46: "I must learn to appreciate things for what they are... Will I be able to? I'm aging quickly...Is it truly inner beauty that matters?"

54: "Retirement is just around the corner...Do I have everything I need to continue living a comfortable life?"

67: "Those youngins and their fast ways...Need to learn to accept things and stop with all that high-tech nonsense.... My life, have I made my mark? Will I be remembered?"

79: "I'm blessed to have lived to this age... My family, my friends, I love them... But, being so worn and tired, what will they want with me now?"

88: "I see the light.... Am I forgiven? Will Christ take me into his Glorious Kingdom?"

So tell the 12 year old everything will sort itself out. Highschool can be great, but is also filled with temptations.. As they say, "Live Above The Influence" Not only the influence of drugs and of sex, but above the influence of letting someone control you, above the influence of doing "what's cool" just because you can, etc...

Tell the 15 year old their whole life is ahead of them... Tell them you support their choices.. Help them, support them, but don't make major decisions for them..Be beside them, set an example, this is the age they need it most...Even though they go through their stages of emotions and rebellion and acceptance, etc....Know it will pass and remember what it was like when you were their age.

Tell the 22 year old to get involved, make friends, be themselves. Tell them to chose a path in life they love, not one others have set out for them.

The the 27 year old to take a good look at themselves and to reflect upon their life.

Tell the 29 year old 30 is a "bench-mark in society", but they shouldn't think this is the end of things. Tell them one day when they're 50 they'll look back and wonder why they were so oblivious and how much wiser they are now then they were at 30.

Tell the 37 year old, if they need to do something crazy, then do it, just so long as you're not putting your life in danger...Tell them time will pass, and one day, hopefully they'll be able to say, "Well, all right then. I am 47, I might look 57, feel 77 somedays, but my heart and my mind tell me I'm 20 again. I love my age and I'm happy with it."

Tell the 45 year old what you told the one who is 37.... ;)

Tell the 54 year old that yes, they should make sure things are in order, but not to become overwhelmed or overtaken by it. Life's too short to live worrying about material posessions.

Tell the 67 year old, if you have loved and been loved, then you will be remembered. No life is a mistake or a waste, but some are more meaningful then others.

Tell the 79 year old you want to hear about them. Ask them to tell you stories of their life. Tell them how much you care and wish you could've been around during "their time".

As for the one who is near death...Pray for them...Pray that they will be delivered into God's hands...

one prime example
Pagans believe in the forces of nature.
The type of Pagan I am belong to those who believe in Things seen and unseen in the FACTUAL natural world. There is not too much superstition.
I believe when I die my life force--energy-- spark of life-- will get redistributed for other living things to use and grow. All of our life force energy will get bashed in one day when our Sun goes supernova==-
The DNA will carry on through the universe until it lands somewhere in the universe where it can support life, then what we contributed will give life elsewhere...
just like where we originated...and on and on.

condemn 75% of the people alive today to hell?

Lets use an estimate and say that 55% of this world is Christian. Of those 55%, how many are "saved"? It is probably less but lets say 25%. Now remember Catholics are not considered "saved", by the fanatics. So what we are being asked to believe is 75% of all the humans alive today are going to go to hell. Are you really that stupid?

I believe that God hates the bible more than I do for the way He is portrayed as a vengeful and jealous entity. Shame on those that wrote that hateful book.

Keep in mind the following before answering
1. I don't drink (for religious and health reasons)
2. I'm pretty good as far as the sports and fitness section goes
3. I'm pretty good as far as the clothing department goes

I need some ideas which can help jumpstart me in the right direction as far as picking a present. You can even send me just a category if you'd like, but I need a jumpstart. Any ideas?

They say they are atheist, but notice how the Church of Satan preist ignores what the christian is saying, in the end the satanist just hangs up becuase he knows hes hiding somthing.

I will be taking a course which is all about the "Problem of Evil" or theodicy. This is basically the old question of why do bad things happen to good people.

Before the class begins, I'm just interested in hearing some individual's responses to the question.

Please share what your faith tradition is, if it is relevant. Thanks!

I have searched Wikipedia and browsed a little, but still can't grasp the entire meaning of Paganism as a religion.

In simple terms, what is Paganism?

What do you guys believe? Do you believe in reincarnation, Judgment Day, hell & heaven etc etc or what exactly?

Is it true that you pray to statues? Who is your God/s?

What is your book called? How did it originate?

Is there a messenger that you believe in?

According to your religion, what will happen to non-Pagans when they die? What will happen to you?

I don't think Pagans even exist where I live; so I'm very interested to understand your doctrine and learn about it.

Thanks!

The answer is no.

The best example is of course Islam, where inspite of Islam, there are a few Muslims who are ok.

By ok, I dont mean those gimmicky phoney mannerisms that impresses only ignorant people who like dog tricks in human beings, I mean that a couple of Muslims here and there, on rare occasion, have an open mind, inspite of Islam and can actually say things like "yea, I see how someone in your shoes could see it that way...".

Amazing really, when you finally met one like that...I almost had a hear attack.

I'm not trying to be explosive, I'm honestly curious. If you believe in the Big Bang, what caused it? Most Big Bang theorists say it was from gases mixing together, but where did the gases come from? Do Atheists believe that the universe is infinite? If there is an end, what happens if you go an inch further? And why did morality evolve??? If anyone can answer these, I'd be much obliged.
