No... A Happy Man would be more suitable than a suffering one

It is not suitable because you are just mocking the Savior's death. Children in Christian Churches and homes have seen the image of Christ on the cross of years, no one has been scarred by it yet. Because they are given understanding, something that you do not have. I bet your kids see worse on your TV.

Watching somebody suffer is not enjoyable for anyone let alone children. I don't even think it is suitable for a church. An empty cross is far more fitting and truthful. He is not on the cross now - it is finished.

a body hanging from a rope would be just as appropriate, no blood or nails there either. How about a limp body in the electric chair? or a limp blindfolded body? no blood there either.

Needs to be bigger, so they can see the blood and feel sorry that they are the reason baby Jesus had to die horribly, and to remind them they are probably going to go to Hell for touching themselves, farting in church, or something like that.
