Pagans believe in the forces of nature.
The type of Pagan I am belong to those who believe in Things seen and unseen in the FACTUAL natural world. There is not too much superstition.
I believe when I die my life force--energy-- spark of life-- will get redistributed for other living things to use and grow. All of our life force energy will get bashed in one day when our Sun goes supernova==-
The DNA will carry on through the universe until it lands somewhere in the universe where it can support life, then what we contributed will give life elsewhere...
just like where we originated...and on and on.

You have used the word "retarded ' the wrong way.
Retarded means behind in achievement.
That has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
Please try to work on your vocabulary.

Because Christians tend to shove their beliefs down the throats of other people. They assume that they are better than everyone else based on a belief system that is very flawed. Christians also tend to be hypocrites and seem to pick and choose which parts of the bible to believe, but ignore other parts b/c those don't suit them.

Paganism at least makes more sense than Christianity. Pagans tend to believe more in Mother Nature and a balance. Christians believe in a big man in the sky. Which sounds more plausible to you?

No Pagan has tried to push his belief on me.
No Pagan has tried to force me to follow any religious rules or beliefs.
No Pagan has harassed me or attacked me for my lack of belief in gods.
I am not aware of any major war being waged by Pagans in my lifetime and most certainly not in the name of their gods.

Christians do all of the above all the time. It should be obvious why they are generally more disliked than Pagans.

I don't ridicule anyone's beliefs, no matter how silly they come across to me. I feel that everyone should be free to believe what they want as long as they're not harming anyone else. As silly as some religions seem to me, I know that their followers think differently and that they probably think that my disbelief is silly. I am no better or worse than they are, so I just accept our differences and focus on getting along with them.

I think it's very unkind of you to take someone else's answer to a question and post it up here for ridicule.

She was stating what she believes in response to a question. You've edited what she typed as well.

She has a right to believe that, just as atheists have a right to believe there is no god.

I've been a strong supporter of atheists on here. They have been kind and respectful to me (a pagan) and have shown themselves to be educated and having enough self-esteem to not have to pull a stunt like this. I'm finding it hard to believe that you are an atheist.. are you a christian who's upset that the atheists seem to pick on you?

ahhh that's not fair, I think you are all equally delusional. I give each of you an equal sneer.

READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS THAT YOU WROTE:
"The type of Pagan I am belong to those who believe in Things seen and unseen in the FACTUAL natural world. There is not too much superstition."....
Now ask yourself.....does this make any sense?

I have never been forced to pray to pagan gods in school, and I have never had to listen to pagan creation theories in school be presented as valid scientific theories.

I had to pray to the christian god in public school, and I had to listen to the christian creation story in science class. We even had test questions on it.

Christianity has been forced into lives and that is why we ridicule it. It is a form of protest. Similar to the protests against the Vietnam war, yet Americans were not protesting wars involving other countries (but not involving USA).

Actually, everything stated there is supported by fact.

We are made up of energy, energy never dies....Our sun one day will go supernova...and yes, molecules of energy can not be destroyed because it can't be.

I know science sounds 'retarded' to you. Try taking a elementary biology or physics course.

'type of Pagan'? a Pagan is someone who works with the Earth, not against it. Are you refering to the misled Wiccans and such? probably... just like modern Christianity, things tend to be perverted from their actual definition... BTW: Definitions equal limitations.

Also, no one cares what you think... think for yourself, not for others.

Uh, because pagans haven't exactly given us much problem in history. I've never had a pagan come knocking on my door uninvited and wanting me to convert to their beliefs.

The Christianity isn't the issue...the oppressive majority, holier then thou, disrespect, intruding on others beliefs and feeling that they can't make their own choices for their own life, that is the issue. Ridicule is only a backlash against it...

I figure that, since the Christians spent so much time slaughtering Pagans and undermining their beliefs, I should just leave it at that.
