why isnt it open 24 hours a day?
If the "job" of the priest is serving others, why is he available just on office hours????

Many churches are still open 24/7 and have priests/pastors available 24/7.

Now then priests/pastors are human and must sleep, eat and spend time with God as we do so no one person can be all things to all people. That is why there are ordained and lay clergy.

Somebody would have to be there 24 hours as street people and others would turn it into a hotel and you will always get somebody who trashes the place.

My pastor is available 24/7 for emergencies but he is a man and deserves time off like everybody else.

The church is not His home. It is an edifice to keep the weather out while the assembled faithful worship. He lives within said assembled faithful.

Priests and Pastors have lives too.. they need to protect their time as well.
Come on Sundays and learn about God - read or engage of other ways of learning in between

His Word is peace of mind.

Mar 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
