The three wise men would not have been at the manger. When they arrived the family was living in a house, not a manger. That is why Herod killed the children two years old and younger. It was at least a year or more before they arrived to see Jesus as a child, not a baby.

Your home was comfortable and paid for, you had good health insurance, none of your close friends or realtives were needy, you were happily married and children grown - all had pretty good health, had a decent car- basically , no big problems.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself.
There are many millions of people who believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God -- millions who think that this book is staff and guide, counselor and consoler; that it fills the present with peace and the future with hope -- millions who believe that it is the fountain of law, Justice and mercy, and that to its wise and benign teachings the world is indebted for its liberty, wealth and civilization -- millions who imagine that this book is a revelation from the wisdom and love . ..

Some gay men are very open and comfortable at work, others are rigid while many are tight closeted. If you're gay, what is your comfort level being gay at work, and what did you do to achieve that comfort level?

Every day when I am working at Kroger, I occasionally hear someone say "please?" when he or she did not hear what I said. This usually happens when I tell them the total price of their order or if I was asking what pet they have.

This year, the first Muslim was elected to Congress, Kieth Ellison.

Muslims also worked hard to help the Democrats this year. In one district, 47,000 Muslims voted for a Democrat who won by 9,000 votes.

In Indonesia, Muslims started to immigrate in a trickle, slowly converting others to their dark religion, until they became a majority. Then--BAM! The sharia was enstated, local people were not allowed religious freedom, and today Indonesia is the most Muslim country in all the world, and the least free.

It could happen here. And to an extent, it already has.

do you think that person should still get their "Christmas bonus"? Should they get the free "ham or turkey"? I understand that people have their own beliefs and I respect that, but they still get all the perks...is that right? or should they tell their employer "no thanks" I don't believe in Christmas, therefore I don't think I should accept your gifts or your holiday pay?
Just curious as to what others think about this...hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Should you ask for leave if you have not already made the decision to hike or not? So when the boss says no, you either say thanks for considering but I am still going, or OK now i know where i stand and make the decision from there.

The thing that makes you just want to drive your fist through something. Personally, I hate how radio stations just crank out Christmas music back to back to back to back.....

Yes, I get it, Rudolph's the king of all the mutant reindeers with his freak nose, I don't need that song being played a hundred times an hour to remind me.
