I seem to remember that in the past it was the job of the church to look after the poor, the widows and the orphans. Since the Catholic church is against abortion (and birth control?), shouldn't it be involved in supporting all the unwanted and starving of the world? Isn't the Vatican one of the wealthiest (and most powerful) states in the world? What percentage of their income goes to charity?

the company my husband works for has so much money and hes a big shot forman there he made them so much money this year well 3 days before christmas they told everyone they was not giving christmas bonus any more or gift cards . we use his christmas bonus to get for our family and friends . how cam business get away with this .

I want to believe in Jesus Christ and in his father, but I am full of doubts about the existence of Jesus and even of the existence of a God. I am full of doubts about the authenticiy of the Bible. I have been liking this girl for a coupla months now, but we've known each other for a little over a year. The thing is, she is a very quiet person.

I have tried to strike up conversation but she always respond in a short sentence or phrase. And I have came up with a billion topics but the replies are all the same. Even with open ended questions.
