I have been liking this girl for a coupla months now, but we've known each other for a little over a year. The thing is, she is a very quiet person.
I have tried to strike up conversation but she always respond in a short sentence or phrase. And I have came up with a billion topics but the replies are all the same. Even with open ended questions.
So how am I supposed to get to know her better, or even tell her that I like her? Cause I can imagine if we go out on a date and it will be the most quietest date ever haha. Which is why we always go out with a group of friends.

i totally understand what you're saying. well, if you really like her that much, i think you shouldn't be concern with whether the date will be quiet or filled with noise, and stuff like that, right? I mean, isn't is amazing just being able to be with her?? alone? just the two of you. appreciate the silence, then...or you could talk to her more. my gf is the quiet type too and it took me years before she could finally open up and start being chatty with me. maybe this girl that you like...she could be a good listener, perhaps? some people just do not have much opinions on things, you know...if she's quiet, accept her for who she is and you guys will be just fine. i wish you all the best and hope that you two will be together soon.

well if you continue on and acually do develop a relationship with her..do you really think that she is going to change? Her basic personality seems to be that she is quiet and introverted...You can't change her if you have sex with her. She will remain the same.
This question is right up there with those women who think that they can change a man after marriage. Guess again.

You think for a minute she will change?
Go look for someone who can talk whole sentences.
Someone like her sounds awfully boring to me.
Move on,are you maybe addicted to her?

If she likes you, she will open up to you. Perhaps she is afraid of saying that she does not like you the way you like her.
