Well i'm so confused, i'm gonna go on a date cause i can't wait for this friend who says he loves me (i can't wait cause i've got cancer). Anyways i really wish he (my friend) would finally get to it, i love him so much, but don't want to waste my time. Is there any advice?

He knows about the cancer, and he knows i love him LIKE THAT!! And he says he wants to date me, but i just don't have time. We're "just friends for now" according to him.

I say go on the date. You should not wait (cancer or not.) You have to do what makes you happy. Not to sound morbid, but if he knows about the cancer he may be scared to truly show love on the fear that it may be lost. If he is your friend, he will be your friend no matter what. Right now you still have to look out for yourself and do what is right for you.

If somebody loves you and you love them, go with it. I think you're saying that you want to date someone else. But cancer or not why would you want to hurt the other guy? Talk to him and tell him the truth maybe he will understand. If it's just sex that you are waiting for and you want to go with someone else, though, maybe you don't really love the other guy. You can't have it both ways, either commit or play the field.

First of all:I am sorry for you,but don't waste your time:have fun ,now you still can.
No,don't wait for him.Enjoy yourself.
I would even suggest just to ignore him,as he ignores you needing him.
If time is of the essence you need to get out and do stuff,not sit around and wait,
If you need to talk:if i am on line just holler.
No topic is shunned by me and I am very open minded and did much volunteer work for people with cancer.

Sorry to hear about your cancer. But are you putting to much pressure on your friend? It seems he does'nt want to rush it but obviously you are afraid you do not have the luxury of time. Talk to him about it if he feels he is being rushed or pressured. Sorry again but it is also unfair for him to be put in an awkward situation.

don't rush things just because you have a cancer. go on your date and try to find out about his feeling for you and don't tell him about your cancer. it's not a good idea to get someone by using your health situation. so you'll know that he loves you for who you are not because he pity on you. if then you'll find out he loves you, only then you tell him about your cancer.

I guess your gonna have to do what makes you happy. If you've expressed to him that you love him, he will eventually get it. But for now you have to do whatever you think is right for yourself. Follow your heart, he may not be the one.

first of all, does he know you feel this way and does he know that u have cancer if not i do believe you need to sit his little *** down and explain the situation to him and see where it goes from there .
