Mine is definitely having some woman's baby stroller run into my ankles. I will lose my temper more over that than anything in the world. I'm fuming right now just thinking about it! It Hurts!!! Moms really need to be more considerate. Sure you have a small child to take care of, but that gives you no right to ram people when cruising through the malls.

Why are so many Christians saving money for their kids colleges? Buying Homes and Property? Saving money in CD's so they can Retire?

I don't think I would be worrying about those things if I honestly thought my "God" and/or "Savior" was going to return to earth in my lifetime.

many thru history have said that this people have been punished due to Jesus cruxifiction. Even lately many said that Passion movie promote racism, against Jews (no matter director's belief).
I think Jesus just came to Earth to complete the mission of his Father, and he could appear in Asia, Africa, America, or anywhere else, and were the jewish people who acted like any other human in the world would? They are no punishable race, and I`m concerned in showing out my opinion here, and see what people say. I`m no jewish, I`m catholic.

God is Great.
God is Greater.
and God is the Greatest.

Which is the most accurate?

A book I'm currently reading about Islam always translates it as "God is Greater" and I'm wondering, "Greater than what?" (obviously everything, but you know you what I mean).

Is it because the body is a temple and drugs could destroy that temple? What about eating fast food? Does God disapprove of that too? I have seen a lot of really overweight born-again Christians. Does God disapprove of eating trans and saturated fats in foods? Are they going to hell for destroying their temple?

Just some things I am curious about. I have been told over and over that God doesn't approve of drugs. Why are drugs considered to be "bad" in God's eyes while eating fatty foods and not exercising is overlooked?

Thoughts? Ideas?

Preventing

OR

either having children who are not taken care fo and living in squalor or starving

OR

Aborted a growing baby

To me peventing is probably down at the bottom of God's lists of sins against children.

Why are mostly all black people grouped under the term 'African-American'? Not all black people are of African descent. They could be from Jamaica, Haiti, or many other places. So isn't it better to simply call the person black until you know? And then what? 'Carribean-American? All seems a bit silly.

And also- In Social Studies books, when it talks about the slave trade, the black slaves are called African-Americans. Isn't this incorrect? At that point, they were only African.
