Would you be offended, if, when you went shopping, the clerks said 'Merry Christmas'? What about others who don't know you? Friends/co-workers who think that you celebrate Christmas?

i do think about others who don't celebrate Christmas, its just that I do, so i wish them a happy one. and i also just wanted to know what those who celebrate a different holiday think, since its mainly those trying to be 'politically correct' who argue for happy holidays, etc, not those who don't celebrate christmas.

No I dont get offended, I just polielty tell them we dont celebrate Christmas and move on.. My kids (9,8,4,2) do the same when people ask if they are ready for santa they tell them we dont do santa or christmas and move on.. Other people who know me all know that we dont celebrate Christmas and move on with it.

It's not that people are offended..it's the fact that people are too selfish to think that someone might have a different faith and still go on to say Merry Christmas without thought.
