they drank wine like it was water (ie they were alcoholics) and when the wine was gone all Jesus did was have water in his eyes cause it was all gone and then he turned it into wine ie he was wining that there was no booze left.

Question is: Is that blasphemy or just a good joke?

why didn't God "divinely inspire" a smallpox vaccine in 2000 BCE, rather than waiting until 1950?

Why would an all-loving God want tens of millions of people to suffer and die from smallpox over the last 4,000 years, and then suddenly decide to "divinely inspire" a cure in the twentieth century? If that explanation is true, then God is clearly a sadist. Only a sadist would cause the suffering of smallpox for thousands of years when he had a "divinely inspired" cure waiting in the wings. Why would we want to worship a sadist?

Scared about getting married due to me not being involved in church.....?

I am getting married in June to a wonderful guy. We are both believers of Christ. I was raised in church, and he was not. I can't imagine being married and not taking my future children to church....We agreed to start going before we get married, but I have heard that you can't change a persons habits. I have been out of church for about 2 years now. Do ya'll think that it is possible to get into the swing of going to church and keeping it that way with BOTH of us???

a question for any jehovah's witnesses about teachings?

In the bible the cross is spoke of in many scriptures. example Matthew 10:38 He who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Matthew 27:40 and saying, "you who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If you be the Son of God come down from the cross."
1 Cor 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gosple, not with wisdom of words, least the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
Gal 6:14 but God forbid that I should boast execpt in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been cruified to me and I to the world.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus , the author and finisher of our faith, who for they joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the thrown of God.
The apostle peter refused to be hung on a cross like Jesus and was indeed hung on a cross unside down. In the Jehovah's witnesses the cross is called a stake

How can I meet people?

I am a loner and I have started to become desperate to interact socially- I am 17 and really lonely- I have bad social skills, low self-esteem, so I really don't know how to just "open up" to people and talk, you have to understand that IT IS NOT AS EASY FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME AS IT IS FOR NORMAL FOLK.
I would like, if you had any idea, advice on how to perhaps meet other people like me, whether through interaction on the internet or whatever, really, just so long as I have social contact THIS IS BECOMING UNBEARABLE FOR ME.

Please no answers stating for me to go and meet and talk to people at my school, join a "club", etc.- THIS WILL NOT WORK, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SCHOOL I ATTEND AND THERE ARE NOTHING BUT ASSHOLES THERE, and it is not even up to me to join a club, I have a mean parent who won't let me do anything at all.
