im looking at answers people have left to questions and so many of them have mentioned religion.. why is this?

It's kinda like saying 'why are people being so romantic' the first week of February. I think the season is bringing out religion, and consequently, the bible quoter big time. It is for me, and I hardly EVER quote bible passages to anyone.
Then again, some of these people could not cook a pot roast unless John Chapter 3 had something to say about it. Take your pick.

Bush introduced religion in politics. He said God speaks to him. This made religious leaders and their followers think that they have a god in the white house.
Those less fanatical or non-believers people became concerned and angry and that's what you're seeing.
Some who did not keep with politics think that it is a sign of last days is the reason, but it's no it is a consequence of Bush's propaganda.
9/11 also has something to do with it.

I think that it is not that everyone is suddenly enthrawled with religion....I think that it is that YOU are suddenly aware of others talking about and seeking God.

because there are people who feel the need to belong to a certain religious affiliation as to fulfill an empty feeling in their lives and some people feel that in order to have morals one must claim a religion i'm agnostic by the way
