I believe the concept of "MY WAY IS THE RIGHT WAY" of these monothestic religions are what makes them nefarious. It isn't christians belief in their god that bothers me; it is their need to force their views on the rest of the world through violence/solicitation/deceit/fear. Take for example , the christian crusades. Christians are quick to say that it is the act of INDIVIDUALS yet are quick to say that the islamic terrorism of today is the result of EVIL ISLAM. Both are actually the result of fanatic religious politics.

In comparison, I find Budhism and Hinduism to be much more peaceful. Their teachings actually promote peace over violence. I also believe that christianity is manipulative in making hinduism and budihism out to be evil. I was surfing through channels the other day at 3 am when nothing was on. I happen to come across this show on budhism and it portrayed the burial practices of budhism in the himilayas as evil and unethical. The reality is that in that demography their burial/cremation practices are the best methods due to lack of modern technology. It turns out that this show is part of a christian channel called TBN that was trying to portray budhism as evil.
