Well, here is the dilema... my family is super-catholic... but I don't really feel that is the right path for me in life.

I am more of a spiritual person by nature and I have chosen to follow a pagan religion called wicca. I am afraid that if I tell my family then they will disown me for working hand-in-hand with the devil. No matter how I have tried to even bring up the topic of ANY pagan religion they all scream, rant and rave about blasphemy!

Any advice?

i studied spanish for 9 years and studied abroad for a month in barcelona in college.

after graduation, since i have not been hearing it and engaging in conversations, i am losing my ability to speak the language!

what are some inexpensive (so please no suggestions to go back to school) ways i can stay sharp on my knowledge?
any free websites to hear and practice? i will pick up some books on tape. but what else?

A lot of people say they go to church and everything but do they really keep the Sabbath. I mean Sunday worshipers just go to church and when they come back home they do whatever they want instead of keeping their "Sabbath" day holy. So I just wanted to know.

alot of people think it's a hick state, but that's not all it is. Central Ohio is pretty nice actually. Ohio is a very diverse state. we have a little bit of everything here. Oh, and what do you think about the Buckeyes?

others. I believe in spirits and there are lots of people who do. I have had lots of accounts on Yahoo of people and their stories. If someone can tell me logically why they believe they dont exist then I will be happy to hear your oppinion. But dont bore me with talk of demons becuase if demons exist by logic spirits do as well. I guess the first question is whether all fear is irrational?

What I find amazing is that a left-wing institution like the "European Monitoring Institute" which normally works under the left-wing assumption that all religions deserve respect and any negative view of a religious people is unexcusable bigotry, said that "muslims needed to do more". In other words, there is some rational basis to the backlash measured.

They certainly do need to "do more" other than all the wars they are involved in worldwide.

Do they realise that the average atheist was probably born into Christianity, was raised in it, studied it?
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if atheists and agnostics knew MORE about Christianity than your generic Christian does.
