give it up so fast? thats why the world is the way it is. why can't you women show some more reservation? some backbone? why can't you hold it until marriage? someone explain

Wow, great question. I have wondered the same thing!! I think it is because alot of us are searching for love in the wrong places. The world would be alot better if we had more restraint. Not just women, although ultimately we do hold the power.

Being 51 years old, which I consider old enough to have seen a lot of changes in society and having lived through the "womens rights and liberation movement", women fought for the right to do a lot of things, one of them being having the same feelings as men do and the same rights to express them. The changes created in society had both their pros and cons. While women have won the right to express their feelings more, they have lost some things in the fight as well. The sweet courtship (dating, romance, gifts, getting to know the person from the inside) have been replaced with finding out how hot is this person. People, hot cools down. Warmth, personality, values and respect have longer life and will outlast the heated passion in the beginning of a relationship. It is not just up to women to hold out. The choice is up to the individual. The benefits are there for everyone who choses to learn more and enjoy more before giving in. Ultimately, the choice is up to the individual, not just the man and not just the women.

Some women are not like that. But to answer your question, you men put alot of pressure on women and make them think that that is what you want. Women are by nature pleasers. Even though women should only worry about what will happen after, everything that men say and do tells us that EVERYTHING should be about sex.

Not all women do...please don't lump us all into one...
I know many many many women who have waited for marriage for anything beyond light kissing! That probably has to do with the fact we are LDS and have those values...
As for the other women...I agree...women are too loose and it makes me really sad to see that women will cheapen themselves by sleeping around, stripping, doing pornography and all other immoral acts. It is really sad.

This is kind of vague not all women are the same just like not all men are the same some men cheat and others do not some women are easy and others are not its all in how you see it i guess.

I personally do not "give-it up" fast. However, many women are made to think that is what they are suppose to do. If men would back-up maybe women wouldn't give-in.

i have never given it up to just anyone, the man i am with to this day since i was 16 is the one i gave it to and did he have to work for it it took him almost a year to get anything like that so please dont think that all women are like that yeah some are but not all

well dont guys give it up just as quickly? i would love it if one my wedding day i wouldnt be the only one who has no clue what im doing lol.
but to actually answer your question, i think its because we dont really have strong morals anymore. or most teenage girls are sluts and alcoholics but whatever. you get use to it.
