Having an xmas party we have nice gifts for the game "dirty santa" but we also bought gag gifts & wanted to do something neat w/them besides plain ole draw a # any ideas?

Yankee Swap. everyone draws a number. Number one selects and unwraps gift. Number two does the same but has the option of switching with number one. Nuber three opens a gifts and can swith with opened gift, down the line. Finally number one gets the final pick. No. 1 is the best number to have, number two the worst.

play "rob your neighbor" since they are all gag gifts, and assuming they are all wrapped so that you can't tell what they are. display all the gifts, have people draw numbers or pass numbers out at the door. have #1 pick a present, then #2, etc... then when everyone has a present, #1 has the option to keep theirs or trade with someone else. when you get all the way through everyone, and all have had a chance to "rob" their neighbor, then everyone opens the gifts to see what they got. usually good for some laughs.
