Interesting part is Zheng He was a Muslim.
Many people also forget to mention that the navigators on the ship with Columbus were Moorish Muslims and also the compass used to navigate were invented and made by Muslims.

Did you know?

I beats me. I know I have to do it eventually but I seem to be postponing it. Why can't I just get into it and start it whenever I want. This is a recurring problem.

"Gap, which owns Old Navy, Banana Republic, Forth & Towne and Piperlime, has become the latest politically correct retailer, intentionally censoring the use of "Christmas" in their in-store, online and printed advertising.

Instead of referring to the season as Christmas, Gap instead uses the word "holiday." As hard as we tried, AFA could not find a single instance in which Gap-owned stores use the term "Christmas." Not a single time!
When one Old Navy store manager was asked by AFA if the word Christmas was in his store, he answered, "We have a lot of Christmas gifts in our stores, but the word Christmas is not used here. Everything is 'holiday.'"
Gap wants you to do your Christmas shopping with them, but they don't want to mention the Reason for the season. Gap doesn't want to offend non-Christians by using Christmas. The fact that their censoring the use of Christmas might offend Christians seems to be of no importance." Will this affect how Christians shop?

You know I've actually thinking about coming out of the closet for a while now but now I'm not sure. I have all the basic fears. You know.....friends, family, ridicule, that sort of thing. Not to mention I have no one to be with or put myself out there for. It's pointless. So again why bother.

Seriously...is it a cry for help...do they really want to know about god but have no one or no way to ask someone. so they log in and get offended and rude in asking or answering questions??..really..if I did not believe in god ..I would not click on a link that says RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY ...come on guys...being atheist is not spiritual nor is it a religion. Or are they just trying to get a lot of yahoo points thinking they will be able to cash them in??…Back to my 2nd question, is it a cry for help and if so how can we help them??

The USA committed the following during preindustrialization era:
1. used Chinese slaves to build the Transcontenental Railroad without labor rights
2. USA and Britain sold opium to China as an export for China's silk imports
3. USA rob other countries of its oil, while doing nothing for the foreign countries poor. USA support tyranical dictatorships to secure its oil needs
4. USA/Britain takes over Hong Kong so they can trade on Anglo Saxson rules. They don't respect China's affairs and value of keeping outsiders from mendling in internal affairs

And Now, USA is telling Afganistan to stop the opium trade? Mind your own F'king business. USA is arrogant. Also, USA tells China to stop the intellectual property violations? Get real, if you Americans don't like it, don't do business with China, but yet you do, I wonder why? Green Stuff. USA will sell USA secrets for a price because USA is the arrogant greedy bastard without morals, integrity, ethics, and virtues.

anyone ever seen the show, talking to Americans, by Rick Mercer? I hope Americans don't think we put our old people out on the ice flows to die, after they become useless to society?

When people state obvious facts about me being shy, quiet, or not talking . . .

OR

ask why I'm shy, what should I say?

I never seem to have no comment to those people, but sometimes I think I should.

Like today, a boy randomly pulled my hoody attached to my jacket over my face.

I turned around and said, "meow!"

He replied, "you know people who say 'meow' are crazy, but people who hiss (like me) are insane?"

I didn't have nothing to say, but then he interupted my thoughts and added, "am I insane?"

I shrugged.

"Hey, you didn't answer my question," he reminded me.

"Maybe 'cause you're messing with me . . .," I said.

(I know that was a stupid answer, but I couldn't think of anything!)

And that's when the random conversation ended.

I just need help.

I already set my default phrase as "meow" because it's random and interesting!

Psalms 14:1 The Fool has said, "NO GOD!"

(Eze 33:11) Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Thanks, RR

Why? I need imput, honest answers from people who are "real" in their faith. I've been told, that Jesus wants us to come to him just as we are. Ok. So that means, if I come as I am, I'm bringing all types of issues and agendas with me. I'm just being honest. Straight up. Open agendas and hidden agendas. More often than not, I barely deal with my issues let alone Christ dealing with my issues? I don't know what to think. I'm getting to the point where I'm actually tired of life. Any thoughts?

Also Is there a specific name for these type of stories ?

I'm seeking sort of interesting short tales which contain a moral in them... and ones which sort of take you back in the the long ancient past or fantasy land.

Ok, for those who have seen this it is about the same book:

I am thinking about making a book about this wolf demon( think Inuyasha) who must save the world from a great evil. The problem is she doesn't want to do and if she does she will die. There is also a group of people known as the Renegades, they help keep the world in balance and make sure that no power is greater than the other. they mainly protect the Earth, Sky, and Sea. When the great evil appears in the world, the world turns into a place like Lord of the Rings. The demon, also, lost her family and many friends. The only family she has left is her older brother. That is the main story line. I have yet to come up with a name, so if you want to you can make some suggestions.

I now have come up with some ideas about the name of my main character.

Her name will be Okami( wolf in Japanese) Ryu( dragon in Japanese)
Her nickname will be Goldleaf.
Please tell me if you like those names.
