I beats me. I know I have to do it eventually but I seem to be postponing it. Why can't I just get into it and start it whenever I want. This is a recurring problem.

Sometimes we put off what we dread. Unfortunately when it comes to homework that is not the best thing to do cause as you know an early start allows for more research to get it done to the best of your ability. You want to have time too to make any changes if need be. Try this: Get the homework started and work for 20 minutes. As a reward to yourself come back here and answer one question. Proceed with this in this way ,20 minutes of homework means answering 1 question on here and see if it helps to break up the monotony.

You're probably on here for the same reason I am; because it's more fun than doing what you're supposed to be doing. I don't know why Yahoo!Answers is so addictive but it is. I tell myself I'll get on here for 10 minutes and no more. Then, an hour and half later, I'm still on here answering questions about everything from 'Why doesn't this boy ask me out' to 'What is the real meaning of life'. Go figure.

I've got an idea, why don't you just copy your homework problems into here and then we'll spend all night doing your homework for you! you can kill 2 birds with one stone yeah!! I love answering homework questions, I especially love those ones that are like "write a 2000 word essay on the implications of Mongolian society in the year 1438." stuff like that. please give me some calculus problems too. go for it!!

that happens to everyone at some time or another, i think... common methods are to take regular breaks, reward yourself etc. oh and study with a friend, it will be better but try to get a friend who is hardworking and serious instead of a friend who gets distracted easily. also try to work in a clutter free environment so that you wont digress.
