I've always had a soft spot in my heart for 'Miracle on 34th Street'. The original with Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle is the best. However, nothing makes Christmas for me like 'A Christmas Carol'. The 1951 version with Alistair Sim is the best - the atmosphere, the costumes, everything is just perfect. (The Mr. Magoo version is fun, too.)

I have always loved Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, and I have been saying all week long that "A Smoky Mountain Christmas" is my favorite movie but now it is tied with "The Polar Express" which I just saw for the first time tonight.

George Bailey from Its A Wonderful Life, because I can kind of relate to him. I've always liked the Scrooge character and tale too.

I like "A Christmas Story"
The cartoon Grinch is a very close second, though.
