I was at work and heard a Christmas song and I would like to know the title. The only word that I could understad was Celebrate. It was a man and he would sing something like"... people celebrate" and he said it a lot. Please help!

Eran aproximadamente las cuatro de la tarde y Pepa limpiaba las ventanas de su departamento, que está en el cuarto piso, estaba sobre la cornisa del edificio cuando de pronto sonó el teléfono; Pepa se sorprendió y perdió el equilibrio, cayó los cuatro pisos y aterrizó en un montículo que la nieve había formado, saliendo ilesa del accidente.

I understand that the whole "Jewish" thing passes on from the mother, but it was not like that before the 1980's. When my mother was born, she would have been considered Jewish (her father is Jewish)... Unfortunately, she is not a practicing Jew, so I suppose this doesn't sit too well with the Rabbi. I now consider myself a Jew, but the Rabbi refuses to teach me anything because he says that I am not. My family and I celebrate Chanukah and Christmas in December... we also celebrate Passover sometimes. Do you think that this whole "mother" law is ridiculous? Because before, you were a Jew if either your mother or father was Jewish. Why did they change the law?

Hi, I need help getting them to turn it down. I already tried talking to them. No luck. The only help is calling the cops, but most of the time they dont come until the music is turned off.

1. The same people do not live there from month to month. It is a drophouse for illegal immigrants from Mexico and always 30+ people living there.

2. I dont have money to take anyone to court, I just want to sleep!

This is an odd question, but isnt it a bit odd to try to have pride in heritage if your American?
I mean, I'm half Irish, and a bunch of other stuff in the other half, but I feel i have no right to claim that I am Irish because my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents etc were all from America. Just because Irish americans married other Irish Americans doesnt neccasarily mean to me that their children are Irish. (im using Irish only as an example, this applies to all nationalities in America). I mean, when your american you are American, whats the use of trying to have cultural pride in a country you amost likely have nothing to do with? I have never seen Ireland, scotland or france so how can I brag about having heritage in any of those places...I hope someone understands where I am coming from, or if maybe they can give me a new perspective.

Today I passed a homeless man playing an irish whistle for money. I said I was sorry for having no money and he, to my great surprise, said: 'it doesnt matter, you look lovely anyway. Have a merry christmas'

To me, it was a genuine, lovely thing to say. I'm gonna buy him a hot chocolate tomorrow, since I know what street he's usually begging on.

I've also had the great experience of giving a homeless man a tenner and seeing his incredibly shocked face!

I had an experience once with this girl I could tell what she was by looking into her eyes and I found out once she had the same feeling about me. I felt that she was a witch and my suspicions were confirmed when some one actually told me at the time her mother was a high priestest.
I was afraid she knew me for who I am, and I don't even know if that is true. I have been accused by cause of two wolf hybrids and that dog named Cookie, people have come right out and accused me, right now that's just words.
Also once back in Science class way back in the 8th grade we were reading about wolves, I looked them, they both had frightened looks and took another look at the magazine and started calling me wolf.
I can just hear it now, but don't worry I have been through a lot worse more than you can know and it has nothing at all to do with relegion.
I'm only traveling down the road of life and I am just curious.
