Most people don't realize that wait persons only make about 2 bucks an hour. The government as "assumed" with tips you should at least make minimum wage. Customary tipping is 15-20%. In most cases the sales tax times 2 will cover it. If you are enjoying alcoholic beverages 20-25% is appropriate or more if you have an entertaining bartender!! Any tip at all is of course.. better than nothing. If you are out drinking and say.. I can't afford to tip...... you don't need to be out drinking!

People are individuals not colors, my family and I always leave tips where ever we eat or use serves. Maybe those people are just cheap or don't have another money to tip. I love giving people tips because I know that most waiters and waitresses don't make a lot money. A lot are college students struggling to pay college tuition so I always leave 10% of what I owe.

First of all you need to stop stereotyping people. 2nd of all all races are the same way if you want to play that game. Next time you might want to rephrase your question or go work on another side of town where you will get tips from Blacks and Latinos.

This is a generalization and a poor one. I tip anywhere between 15% and 20% depending on service given. I've also been known to give 50-60% on extraordinary service.

I love to tip a really good server a real good tip but i think the younger generation of blacks don't know exactly what to do and how to do it when it comes to tipping.

What are you talking about? If you are saying this from personal experience as a waiter, its probably because you suck. Because I always tip and iam pretty generous too. I even tip *******,even though they might get a dollar is better than nothing.

Every race doesnt tip...what do you do sit around in restaurants all day to take a survey on who tips or not. Or are you a waitor?
If so leave surveys on the table to see how your service really was.

ALWAYS GIVE MORE THAN WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THE

I think you are stereotyping. I am hispanic and I have always been told I over tip. I like to tip nice.
