I'm a witch. That doesn't sound like being a witch. It sounds like psychic powers. I have them too but not in that form. Wicca has simply helped me control them a little.

This "road of life" has many twists and turns. Is there a reason you would be concerned that she knew you for who you are? I would talk to this other girl about her beliefs. Then do some research on your own. If you are interested in becoming wiccan think long and hard. It is not an easy path, as you have already experienced a bit of accusation. What do you believe? You have to make choices for yourself, not because someone else says that theirs is the only "true" religion. Curiosity and questioning are good things. I have learned through years of continued experience and learning that nothing should be taken at face value. As for the wolves, maybe you have a wolf or 2 as guardian spirits. This would be a good thing.

Well, then it's better you ask yourself than asking others? Who is a witch, what does a witch do? What defines a person as a witch (In the eyes of others.)?
Then look at yourself, you think so? But anyway, in your case according to your recount. I don't think those people who called you wolf might be right or wrong, it's their opinion or just trying to scare you.
But in eitherway, I'm telling you this "Wolves are often told to be suitable farmiliars for witches, in folklore and tales of course." You might want to look into other subjects than the esoteric, by the way the person you should be asking is that girl you met before being here un Yahoo. =]

What you have mentioned doesn't mean that you are a witch.
Now as to how a person would know they are a witch, you would know just as any other person of any religion knows. You would believe it their beliefs, or if you were not sure, you would do research and then if you agreed with the practices and then carried them out, then you would be a witch.
If you were/are a witch, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Do some reading on Wicca and find out for yourself if that's the way you see things.
I wouldn't worry or care about what others say....People who aren't Wicca and try to disgrace them really irk me....Nine times out of ten, they haven't a clue as to what they are talking about. There are a whole lot worse things than being called a witch-lol...I am glad that you aren't worried about the accusations.

Wow some of the things that people say are really out there....
Being a witch either means someone is calling you one to try and insult you, or your dressing up as one for halloween. Or some other weird reason.
The REAL Reason means your Wiccan.... This is a Religion, a very spiritual ethical one. A religion people dont realize is a very good religion but dont take the time to do the research about it to really see what its about.
So, *shrug* Unless your thinking of the B word, please leave the name Witch outta it unless your thinking of a very spiritual follower of a ancient tradition :)
Sorry If ive confused you, bored, tired, and babysitting.

I'm sure you'll get as many answers out there as are people.
Not all witches are Wiccan. Some of us felt the call of our ancestors and answered it. You may or may not be one. Only you can answer for yourself.
Your wolf experiences seem to indicate that wolf may be one of your totems.
No matter what, I wish you all the very best of blessings and may you find your path on this road you're traveling :)

Witchcraft, or Wicca, is a nature based religion. Many of us possess abilities and sensitivities ( and, yes, power) but we are not witches. On the whole, Wicca is a fine religion and is based on doing no harm to others.
In 8th grade, most kids are real jerks, and they love to find people to pick on and bring down (I've been there). You are probably one of those people who acts as a mirror---reflecting back to people what they want to project on you. (I'm that way.)
When people see who they are, it often frightens them and they fight back. Start attaching yourself to only people who are reflections of the positive---the more of these people you are around, the more of them that you will attract into your life.
If you are still a teenager, just remember that this too shall pass. If you do have special gifts, cultivate them around like-minded people who bring out the best in you and make you feel good about yourself.
You are blessed!

If you can get a lock of their hair and go to a local graveyard. Bury the hair in a grave that is no older then 20 years old. Put your cell phone on top of the gravestone and go home. When your friends tell you someone strange is calling them from your number you will know that the lock of hair came from a witch. Now be sure the grave is no older then 20 years cause anybody buried longer then that will not know how to use the cell phone.
Good luck

First of all Wicca is a good religion. So don't be ashamed.
Second of all, If you can communicate with animals, it doesn't make you a wiccan, so don't say your a wiccan unless you know the 13 goals of a witch. Good luck on travels down the enlightened path.

If they weigh the same as a duck, they are a witch. According to Monty Python.
