I've learned that (a) life begins sometime after erection (no one seemed to think abstinence was murder); (b) life begins before a fetus is developing.

That really makes it sound like it's at the moment of conception, which is usually a few days after sex. (Yes, conception takes a while.)

So, if it is at conception, is it when the sperm cell penetrates the egg membrane? Is it when the sperm cell fully enters the egg? Is 50% inside of the egg? When the DNA and RNA starts doing its magic?

When is the magic moment?

When I was on a mission teaching people about my beliefs I was only looking for people who were looking for me. I believe that all men are created with the right to worship how where or what they will.

If we all agreed that there is no God.
If we all agreed that Islam is the only path to God/Allah.
If we all agreed that Christianity and the triune God was the only path.
If we all agreed on anything at all in reference to a Creator or lack there of.

We would all be bored and have no reason to follow our own unique path. We wouldn't need freedom of thought or any sense of individuality.

What are your thoughts?

Hi guys!

I posted a question about this script i found (long story). Its written in Hebrew and im dying to know what it says. Since im Muslim, people think im trying to take the P*** or something. Its sad how politics divide communities.

BUT ANYWAY. i need help in translating it. Anyone like to help whos fluent in reading it? Im not even sure if its Hebrew, or if there are many versions of Hebrew?

I dunno whats a safe way of communicating through this. If i leave my msn Id, i might get hate mail from people lol. But thats just a bad assumption. Anyway, also tell me if your interested to help, how you want to communicate. cos sometimes it doesnt let you.

The scripture is said to be 5,000 years old. But since i posted my last question about it, people told me the religion itself isnt that old. So it must be 2,000 years old or something.
But do guide me here guys, rather than discouraging. Thanks!

Which religions can easily be proved false? Attempt #2 (I got 2 good response first try)

From an objective standpoint, which religions can be proved false. Could anyone who responds not give one line answers.

Example response:
1. Norse Mythology: There was a world serpent that was wrapped around the Earth several times that Thor would fish for with an Ox's head.

From all of the submarines, and boats in the world it seems unlikely that such a massive beast would go unnoticed.

2. Greek Mythology: Gods lived in a palace on Mount Olympus built by Hephaestus with large walls around the palace.

There is no palace on top of Mount Olympus.

3. Scientology:
- costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to learn advanced doctrines.
- Xenu used trillions of Douglas DC-7s?
- Xenu brought Trillions of frozen aliens to Earth just to kill them

I've also been honing my ability to massively delude myself. I thought I lost this ability after I gave up Christian superstitions but I saw that it was still there, just needing the desire to be special and believe in some virtual reality of utter bullsh!t. I picked Wicca and witchcraft because it will shock the christian fundamentalists which will REALLY give me the identity I'm looking for. I've already had family members and friends treat me in that special way I've been looking for. Have I done enough?

What is the difference in the brain patterns of a person who experiences a miracle, to that of a person who experiences fear/danger/threat to life?

What does this suggest about the way we think? Or what does this say about "our thinking" in general?

Note: Brain patterns are ideas that are associated with encephalogic studies. They are studied using electro-encephalograms.

Note: If you are sincerely answering this question do provide your sources accurately.

I sometimes wonder if a lot of people, straight women and gay men, write Asian men off before they even get to know them. As a gay Asian man, I feel as though very few men have ever expressed interest in me and if they have, they've generally been the 65 year old, starved for sex kind. Many of my friends and even people I don't know have told me that I'm attractive (although they were probably lying) and I've never thought of myself as ugly. But I feel like so many people automatically see Asian men as being ugly and, thus, not datable. I hate to sound so depressed, but sometimes it really bums me out. I wish some guys, regardless of appearance, would just give me a chance. I sometimes think I'll be one of those lonely old bitter men who never found anyone decent in life. Should I just resign myself to being lonely? I know White guys are often way hotter than Asian guys, but is anyone decent out there who can see past that?

Now i know about the law of three but sometimes it doesn't aply. Like the other day i did a protection spell and i didn't get any protection, instead i got conflicts. And there is this girl in my school who is wiccan but she does black magic all the time and i can't stop her. So my question is CAN I DO A REVENGE SPELL THAT DOESN'T HAVE VERY BAD EFECTS ON HER SO THAT SHE CAN LEARN HER LESSON? because you see i have withnesed her doing voodoo magic and she drew a pentagram. That is wiccan right? Oh are there any other religions that use magic exept wicca?

I am asking because Maurice Ravel, composer of Bolero, was a member of a group of musicians and artists at the turn of the 19th Century who called themselves "apaches". Is this just a reference to Native Americans, or is there another meaning? Is the word even derived from the Indian reference or is it an entirely separate word? And is it pronounced with the e at the end spoken or silent ("Ah- pash" versus "A Pat- Cheee")?

Which brings us to the deeply philosophical question: is abstinence murder?
