When I was on a mission teaching people about my beliefs I was only looking for people who were looking for me. I believe that all men are created with the right to worship how where or what they will.

then what were you teaching them? If you respect their will to worship as they chose, then you had no right to be there in the first place. If you were honestly teaching them (as the term teaching implies the giving of knowledge), then you didn't say one single word. Because we know ABSOLUTELY nothing about the nature of God......if he/she/it even exists. The only thing that makes me more sick than people who judge others are people who "spread the word of God". It is an oxymoron, we have no word from God....and NO THE BIBLE DOESN"T COUNT IT WAS WRITTEN BY MEN.

You people just dont get it (I'm talking now about your question as well as the answers). By trying to convert people....by this act alone...you are judging people. YOU ARE JUDGING THEM BY TELLING THEM TO THEIR FACE THAT WHATEVER FAITH THEY HAVE IS FALSE, AND THAT YOUR'S IS RIGHT....Sounds like self-righteous judging to me

we are not supposed to judge people we can only tell them what the bible says and they then have the choice to accept it or reject that information for example, i go and teach a man how to fish show him all i know use a rod and reel and worms if he chooses not to use the pole or the bait then there is nothing i can do but wish him well and try the next person love him and pray for him

God says he is only looking for those who are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things in this system (those whose heart condition allows them the empathy necessary to care about others as well as their own selves and recognize the truth when they hear it). Ultimately, they are the only ones who will survive because that is the only way that the earth can be the way that God wants it to be--Loving and peaceful.

the great thing about god is that he calls to people, he doesn't just wait for them to call out to him. god calls first, and your teaching them is sort of the catalyst after that.

i think we can teach others about god without judging them by trying to reach out to people in all different walks of life. and by telling them the truth about the Bible, not trying to make them feel like the lives they lead are worthless. by lifting them up, telling them that god loves them no matter what.

God is Love.
Be Love.

Let Love be the teaching.
Teach by example.

Yes, I believe I can tell others about God without judging. If they choose to accept or not is no reflection on me. They rejected God. It is their loss not mine. If they accept its God's glory not mine
