As a TRUE member of the gothic subculture, I find that Hot Topic is only there to supply clothing to those stupid little poser tweens. I mean sure, it's okay to buy an accesory there every once in a while, but what's up with the pre-made outfits and it categorizing PUNK or GOTH? I mean, you can't just take something and say it is "punk" or "gothic" because part of what makes subcultures unique is that there can be so much variation in clothing, for instance most enjoy to make their own clothes/accesories. My point is, ever since they put the Hot Topic store here, all of a sudden these punks and goths ( so-called) have sprung up out of nowhere.The store just makes it so easy for wanna-be's to get a hold of "goth" stlyle, and this upsets me. Also people are getting a wrong impression on what gothism is, and they try to become something exotic they don't even understand; most of these posers can't even appreciate art or creativity, a large basis of gothism!
Anyone agree?

I swear to you, there's something freaky about the elevators at work. Nearly every morning as I leave my car and enter the foyer (I'm no where near hitting the call button) the elevator dings and opens for me (there's no one inside and I park on the bottom floor). I have to walk past the elevators to the bathroom and the elevator dings, the doors open and there's no one there. This happens at least once a day--different elevators too. It's starting to flip me out! I whisper thank you to the 'elevator ghost' if you will. This happens 4 out of 5 nights as I leave. What the heck is going on? It does NOT happen if someone else is with me though.

there both girly girls and the oldest likes to draw and shes pretty good at it shes real quiet and reserved and the younger one is the complete opposite, im not quite sure what her talent is as im not around her very often. Please help i dont know what little girls like now and days, im tempted to just give them some money but im not sure if thats right or not.

We give them more rights than pretty much anywhere else on planet earth. All they're doing with the feminist crap is weakening america and christianity leaving us vulnerable to the muslim takeover occuring in europe right now.

You know what the muslims would do? They'd make you shut up and wear a bag over your head. Also, you'd be killed for demanding the right to vote. I'd say you have it pretty good here in present day america. Let's just hope Hillary doesn't get elected.

and in the media generally? have we as a society become even more obsessed with it then we were before? what sort of affect do you think this has on us (and specifically children as they grow up) do you think that we can blame one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates on it? They are banning junk food ads so why not put some sort of control on this too - we monitor what we put consume (eat drink etc ) nowadays with healthy eating - should we be practising healthy thinking too?

I've heard some people say things like they have actually seen angels or heard the voice of God speak to them. Some others have said they sometimes see a person's aura and it warns them about people who may mean them harm or tells them who is good. If you had one of these types of experiences, or someone told you they did, would you consider it a confirmation of your spirituality or a sign of mental illness? How would you tell the difference?
