As we all know, millions or billions of people die and are dust already. If there is heaven or life after death, and they say we have souls, then where do they go, if there is heaven, then heaven must be that huge enough to accomodate all those souls. Just curious.

Ok, I know you all must of heard this at least a million times, but I really have no idea what to get my bf for Christmas. Alright, here's a little bit about him: He's 38, a commercial pilot, Russian, really hot :), and we've been together for about 9 months. I really don't know what to get him. He has a very nice and fairly new watch, already has a MP3 player, all the music he likes is in Russian and it's not that easy to find Russian CD's here, he already has a leather jacket and getting him clothes just seems...weird. Has a great pair of sunglasses already, I would get him a bag of some sort because he's always traveling, but that's what I got him for his b-day. Also, dinner and a night out would be great, but he won't be here Christmas day (or eve), "then why not do it before he leaves or when he gets back?" you might say and I'm already planning on something like that but I want something I can wrap up and give to him. Help!

Specifically those that flood the catergory with threats, slurs, abusive language, and homophobic insults. I don't mean the random insult, but the full time basher. Those that have several IDs, spend hours on end harssing, insulting or threatening violence. Trolls: those that exist only to incite angry reactions.

I'm new to this so I want to know whether I should ignore them and do nothing, report, or engage them in insults (I notice lot of people egg them on).

Non-Muslim American Man marrying Muslim Woman?

Please, can you tell me a link or direct articles that explain the differences between the crash of this 2 very different cultures?

I born Catholic and she born Muslim; she told me I must convert to Muslim to marry her.

Of course this is a nonsensical question. I don't live in the USA but I am reading on this forum all sorts of questions about American holidays and the use of words. I simply don't understand that debate.

Why does it matter if an Atheist celebrates Christmas? Why does it matter if a Muslim celebrates Thanksgiving? Why does it matter if an Atheist says OMG? Why does it matter if a Christian uses the word Thursday, and with that honors Thor? Why does it matter if Easter was originally a Pagan Holiday?

Why can't we just simply celebrate things together, no matter what the reason is?

Any input is good. I was thinking about ways I could give something back and want some ideas. Here is my dilema I am just one person poor by todays standard's my husband and I are a young couple doing are best--but have fallen on hard times--times that have led us to apply for food stamps, fuel assistance and Medicaid for our only child who is 1. Slowly but surely we will get back to "normal" sometime. Despite our situation right now I am greatful for our warm, modest, but nice trailer house and the food that we have and our health and I would like to help others out. I don't have alot of money for donations or alot of time for volunteering due to taking care of my young son yet I would like to give back particularly to maybe a domestic violence safehouse or foster children who do not have much or children who are sick and need some cheering up.

Any ideas how a person like me to give back because there are alot of people out there who have alot less than me.

I am a waitress in pretty spendy place. Last Saturday I waited on a party of 10. 8 people paid cash and 1 guy paid 2 tabs, his and one other, with a card. The 2 tabs came to $160.00. He said "Here. If the people who paid you cash didn't leave you enough, put some extra on my card." I said "I can't do that." He didn't respond, which made me nervous. I counted the cash. The people who paid cash had left a nice tip for their share, which was about $160.00 as well. So they left $30.00. I debated adding money to his card, but I think it would be unethical on my part, so I entered the amount for the two tabs and gave him back his card. I felt so uneasy the whole time. He signed the card, left the "TIP" spot blank and handed it back. I never added any money to it. I felt really bad getting such a small tip on a dinner that was over $300.00, but I just didn't want to put something on someone else's credit card. It was so weird. Is this an odd situation for him to put me in or do others do this

One of my close friends is having a birthday soon. I have no idea what to get her this year. I am a student so I don't have a ton of money, but I'd like to get her something nice.
The reason I'm asking for help is because we live really far away from each other and I don't get to see her often and I don't know what she's into at the moment.
Oh! A little info about her, she'll be 20 and she is expecting her first child in a few months. I don't want to get her baby stuff either. I want something just for her. Uhm...let's see what else, she is a college student as well, she loves old shows like Bewitched and she is love the color pink.

Depends where you look; Matthew 12:40 gives Jesus prophesying that he will spend "three days and three nights in the heart of the earth," and Mark 10:34 has "after three days (meta treis emeras) he will rise again." As far as I can see from a quick look, the prophecies have "after three days," but the post-Resurrection narratives have "on the third day."

Sometimes I think as bad as straight Asian guys have it in the USA (in terms of dating and being considered hot or appealing), gay Asian men probably have it the worst. Seriously, it seems like no guys, exactly 0 people, want to date Asian guys. I really wish the attractiveness factor wasn't such a huge deal, but I understand that it is (particularly in the gay community) and , hence, a lot of dudes automatically rule out the possibility of even having a conversation with an Asian guy. It's so sad...even other Asian guys refuse to date Asian men...doesn't say a lot about our self-esteem. I wish that, for one second, some nice, decent guys existed that would give me a chance..at least let me say a few words before discounting me. I'm tired of the 60-year old, desperate, perverted guys with Asian fetishes hitting on me...I want a real man to come home to. Is my head in the clouds? Should I just get used to the idea of being lonely?

Do you act the same around people of other cultures, or do you act differently trying to "blend in"? Why come I never see O.G's from the hood meeting people from the country who were raised on a farm tending to the pigs and chickens. They never show these scenarios on Television. Whites dating blacks, Blacks hanging with Mexicans. Friendly Arabic peoples not always the terrorists, we need to have some diversity in our world. I'm tired of seeing the same old routine.
