I have an Aunt that has a common-law husband for 25 years! They now have two children and I moved away myself and started sending them Christmas Cards since then. I had that very dilemma. Their kids last names are hyphenated with theirs so it's kind of a wierd deal. This is what I did. Since she is my aunt and I know her best - I go by her...I address the envelope as her first/last name "and family". On the card I list all their first names only. If your relationship is equal with both of them - address it to the male then - same way, his first/last name and "and Family". I think that works real well myself.

If the card is just to the couple, I would address it:

Mr. John Doe
Ms. Jane Smith
123 Any Street
City, State Zip

Alphabetize the last names and put them on separate lines.

If it's to the couple and the child, I would say:

Mr. John Doe and Johnny
Ms. Jane Smith
123 Any Street
City, State Zip

Of course, that assumes the child's last name is the same as the male adult. And that the couple is male-female. :)

one ingredient to keep in mind is that the internet is complete of people that in simple terms make stuff up. a number of what i have research weddings makes my head spin. Mr. and Mrs. Smith and family contributors is tremendous for the mum and father and any little ones lower than the age of 18. After that, they are meant to get their own invites, in spite of the indisputable fact that in the experience that they stay at homestead. on the outer envelope for unmarried people, that's proper to conceal this one on the rsvp card. (i assume you've one, alongside with a self addressed go back envelope). you'll write contained in the guy's call, and then positioned concentrated visitor with a undeniable or no. and then complete food or something. there is various of those on line to get correct wording in case you want. you'll also attempt this with "plus family contributors". in spite of the indisputable fact that in the experience that they have got 4 little ones, it would not advise they are going to carry them, or that each and every plausible come. you'll desire a very last concentrated visitor count number. it truly is the way you get it. And Ms is tremendous.

Maybe just list all of their first names, not even metion the last names? Or if you want to be more formal, list the full name of the person you know the best and add the first name of the other person and child after that. Good luck!
