Go for it! Not every Church starts big. My Church started with 4, and we are up to almost 300 over about 6 years. Remember, things take time. Be encouraged my brother! I just love to hear it when someone starts a new Church! If I can ever help, drop me a message.

Have you looked into the cell church movement? Basically, start with a base cell or house church of twelve, as it grows it splits off until you have another one... And you develope a whole lot of cell groups or house churches of about 12 people. Leaders of 12 of those groups also meet together, in a group of 12.
These groups can all meet together either every Sunday or once a month in a large congregation for a celebration.

It's great as long as it is less than 6 mo. old. If it stays at that level of members, I would think that they might be struggling for various reasons. Unless you feel led to go there, I would keep looking because there will be a heavy burden on you to help with nursery, cleaning, projects etc.
Don't get me wrong... I am willing to help in all those areas, but a church should be growing and if it isn't... it may not be the church God wants you in.
PS A lot of people now days are having house church which I think is fine too. Those are going to be smaller and everyone should be able to participate in the service.

you just hit home!! my home church is an amazing group of 10 members. i started going when i was 20. i am now 25. i started to know God at this church. i feel his presence so strong there. i even got married there in our small building. we have become such close friends more like family, and to think i didn't even know these people when i first started attending. i have to say the closeness will never be the same in a larger church. after my experience with this church there is no way in the world i would be at home in a larger church. for one it would be hard to know the paster's and become CLOSE friends like i have. sorry to say though i selfishly stopped going there and tried to attend a larger church because the smaller one had no child care and i have three small children which where making it hard to listen to the message's. but it's not the same there is no closeness. i have never met the paster. so I'm writing from my heart what i think about small churches... so i say the smaller the church the better. .... thumbs up on this idea.....

All of Christianity is a Church of Twelve.
Christians worship Zeus the Sun God and his 12 months of the Year while the Gospels are the 4 Seasons of the year.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: The name, “Jesus”, is used approximately 616 times in the four Gospels with 171 in Matthew, 95 in Mark, 100 in Luke and 250 in John.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: The title “Christ” is used 51 times in the four Gospels with 12 in Matthew, 8 in Mark, 12 in Luke and 19 in John.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Jesus is therefore used just over 12 times as much as Christ in the four Gospels, with a ratio of 12.12 to 1. The number 12 is of great importance in the worship of Zeus the Sun God, with twelve months in the year being representative of the twelve disciples.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Zeus is the Sky God that was worshipped by the Romans as the God of Gods and the Father of Gods and men, and it was among the priests and worshippers of Zeus that Paul and Barnabas performed their “miracles” and preached “the “Living God.” (Acts of the Apostles 14:12 –13)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: It was none other than Zeus the Sky God who is alleged to have spoken from the Midday Sun to Paul saying, “I am Jesus.” (See Acts of the Apostles 9:5, 22:8, and 26:15)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Paul’s three accounts of his close encounter with Zeus in the midday Sun produced witnesses who saw and did not see the light, who heard yet did not hear the voice, and who stood yet fell to the earth. .” (See Acts of the Apostles 9:5, 22:8, and 26:15)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: The light of Paul’s Jesus from the midday Sun was “above the brightness of the Sun,” shone “round about” Paul and blinded him, yet he assumed that it came from the Heavens above, so Paul himself also saw yet did not see. .” (See Acts of the Apostles 9:5, 22:8, and 26:15)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Zeus the Sky God and Father God speaks in a voice from the Sky at the Baptism of Jesus, “my beloved son,” while the Holy Spirit descended “like a dove.” (Matthew 3:17, Mark 1:11, Luke 3:22)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Jesus is described with the features of Zeus the Sky God at the Transfiguration as “his face did shine as the Sun, and his raiment as white as the light” (See Matthew 17:2),
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Jesus is described with the features of Zeus the Sky God at the Transfiguration, “And his raiment became shining exceeding white as Snow (See Mark 9:3)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Jesus is described with the features of Zeus the Sky or Weather God at the Transfiguration, “And there was a cloud that overshadowed them”, (with the unmistakable voice of Zeus) “and a voice came out of the cloud saying, this is my beloved son” (See Mark 9:7)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Jesus transforms into Zeus the Sky or Weather God at the Transfiguration, “his countenance was altered and his raiment was white and glistering” (See Luke 9:29), “and there came a cloud and overshadowed them” (Luke 9: 34) “and there came a voice out of the cloud” (Luke 9:35), and all of this is in a meeting with Elisha (or Eliseus of Luke 4:27).
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: The name, Jesus, is a combination of Jah and Zeus as The intention of Governor Pontius Pilate to match the false charges made by the Biblical Jews that he made himself a God and a Son of God. Jah is the God of Israel while Zeus is the God of pagan Rome.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: The Angel at the tomb is none other than Zeus, with the same features as Jesus (Jezeus) in the Transfiguration; “His countenance was like the lightening and his raiment white as snow.” (Matthew 28:3)
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: “And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” (Matthew 5:29), meaning, I cant save you. You have got to save yourself by your own hands and your own effort.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: “And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” (Matthew 5:29), meaning, I cant save you. You have got to save yourself by your own hands and your own effort.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: “Think not that I am come to send peace on Earth. I came not to send peace but the sword.” (Matthew 10:34) The War on Terrorism today began in Jerusalem and is more intense internationally now than when it began, with the three main combatants being Israel, the Muslims and Christians.
